ypertonic pelvic floor, overactive bladder, incontinence, post prostate surgery and prolapse. We also offer the only physio-led pessary fitting service in Northern Ireland. Founder Ciara Devery created the Mama Turn after her own experiences with pelvic pain in pregnancy. Mama Turn is a brushed cotton covered sliding sheet designed to make turning in bed a doddle! Pregnancy, pelvic pain, back pain, and surgery can make turning over at night very difficult. Made with brushed cotton; it’s super soft to lie on, non-sweat (lets face it, if you’re pregnant you’re probably warm enough) and machine washable. Just pop it on top of your fitted sheet, hop in and you’re all set for a good nights sleep!

Thoughtfully designed. Beautifully made. 💗

The Mama Turn is a simple slide sheet designed to make turning in bed easier during pregnancy and after birth. Less strain, less discomfort and more restful nights.

Because every mum deserves a little extra support.

HIFEM isn’t a beauty treatment — it’s a pelvic floor intervention.
And when it comes to your pelvic health, who you choose matters!!

Here’s why choosing a physiotherapy‑led clinic matters:

1. Pelvic Health Expertise 🏥

HIFEM isn’t a cosmetic service.
It’s a pelvic floor intervention that affects bladder control, pelvic stability, and postpartum recovery.
At Active Physio, your treatment is overseen by a pelvic health physiotherapist who understands your anatomy and symptoms.

2. Full Clinical Assessment 👩🏼‍⚕️

Before starting HIFEM, we assess:
• Pelvic floor strength
• Coordination
• Bladder habits
• Postpartum changes
• Red flags
No-one should use HIFEM technology without a full assessment first.

3. Safety Screening 📋

HIFEM isn’t suitable for everyone.
We screen for pelvic pain, prolapse, metal implants, and medical conditions to keep you safe.

4. Personalised Treatment Plan 🏋️‍♀️

Your pelvic floor is unique — your treatment should be too.
We combine HIFEM with physiotherapy, bladder strategies, and lifestyle guidance.

5. Evidence‑Based Results 📊

HIFEM works best when paired with clinical guidance.
That’s why our clients see real improvements in leaks, urgency, and confidence.

6. Privacy & Professional Care ❤️

Pelvic health is personal.
You deserve a private, supportive, medical environment. You’re not just sitting on a chair - you’re supported, monitored, and guided by a clinician every step of the way.

If you want real pelvic floor improvement, choose clinical care — not a quick fix.

May is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month – highlighting one of the 10 most common cancers in the UK. It affects all ages, both men and women, with almost three quarters of cases occurring in men.

You might notice blood in your urine just once, or many times. It could be a tiny spot, a few streaks, or it might change the colour of your urine completely.

However it appears, blood in your urine isn’t normal and should always be checked by your GP.
