We woke up as the sun rose this morning to attend the 3rd day of the International Clinical Trials Methodology Conference 2026 . The Team were proud to be showcasing MAMA in a poster presentation. Such a fantastic inspiring event to be part of!

Find out what’s in a MAMA Welcome Pack! Each participant in MAMA will be sent a Welcome Pack stuffed with items to help you during your time in the study.

The MAMA Study is designed to find out whether it is better for women who have inflammatory arthritis and are pregnant to temporarily stop or to continue taking biologic medications.

Both continuing and stopping using biologics beyond 28 weeks of pregnancy are routine practice in the UK; this varies between hospitals. The MAMA Study is looking to provide an answer on which is the better approach.

40 participants recruited to MAMA! The 3 women who most recently joined MAMA contacted us directly to express interest in taking part, so this feels particularly special for the MAMA Team!
