I see a lot of people whom have used weight loss drugs. They present improved mood, increased activity and increased socialisation. They look and feel much better in themselves. All good, yeah?

What I’m also hearing is their anxiety to stop the drugs. The fear they will not be able to control their eating without the drug. They worry about continuing the drug. The concern about longer term implications. I am seeing some people present with disordered eating before and with the drug.

So yet again, one solution is not the answer. We must address the physical and mental impacts concurrently to make a sustainable solution if these drugs are to continue in our lives.
