Today we enjoyed our SnackVerse box, exploring delicious treats from Spain! 🇪🇸

Everyone had great fun using their senses to taste, smell, and guess the different flavours. We chatted about our favourites, discovered some new tastes, and shared what we weren't quite so keen on. It was a fantastic morning filled with lots of laughter and conversation.

We can't wait to see which country next month's SnackVerse box will take us to! 🌍💚

🌙 Position 1 – Torr Home Nights
36 hours per week
Week 1 & 3: Monday, Tuesday & Friday
Week 2 & 4: Monday, Wednesday & Sunday

🌙 Position 2 – Glentor / Belltor Nights
24 hours per week
Every week: Thursday & Friday

Today we spent a few peaceful hours at The Rock in Yelverton, simply enjoying the outdoors. Watching the children play, people strolling by, and taking in the fresh air. We kept an eye out for wildlife but didn't spot any today - we think the weather may have kept them hidden!

We chatted about the old airfield and imagined what it must have been like in its heyday, along with the underground bunkers and all the history the area holds. We also reminisced about the events held on the moors over the years, from the classic car shows to other local favourites.

The conversation wandered to the sports we used to play and the places we'd still love to visit one day. All while enjoying a picnic with tea, coffee, and cake, before finishing the afternoon the best way possible - with a proper old-fashioned Mr Whippy ice cream 💚🌿🍰☕🍦

The final total is in, and we're absolutely thrilled to announce that our Summer Fair raised an incredible £1,158.10! 🎊

💛 Plus an amazing donation of £408.05 raised by Tracey Rogers and her friend

Grand Total: £1,158.10! 🎉

This is officially our best Summer Fair yet! Thank you to every single person who came along, supported us, volunteered, donated, bought raffle tickets, enjoyed the stalls, and helped make the day such a wonderful success.

Yesterday we held our annual Torr Home Summer Fair, and what a wonderful day it was! ☀️💚

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special for our residents. Seeing their smiles and the lovely conversations between residents and visitors was truly heartwarming.

It was especially lovely to see the children introducing themselves and chatting with our residents - it brought so much joy to everyone.

A special thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers who helped run the BBQ and stalls, everyone who baked delicious cakes, and our fantastic kitchen team for preparing and purchasing all the food for the day.

The weather stayed on our side, the Torr Home community came together and we all enjoyed a fantastic day.

Our Summer Fair is more than just a fun day out - it's an important fundraiser that helps us raise donations to support Torr Home and continue providing meaningful activities and experiences for our residents.

We can't wait to do it all again next year! 💚🏡🧁🎊

A lovely day out in Tavistock today! 😊 We had a wander around the markets, followed by a relaxing stroll through the park and along the river. It was lovely watching the ducks and geese - some of them even looked like they fancied a bite of our pasties! 🦆🪿🥟

A perfect day with great scenery, fresh air, and good company 💚

What a wonderful visit from Katy Music Makers Plymouth - New at The Glentor Centre! 🎶

Residents enjoyed a fun-filled session with plenty of movement, gentle exercises and lots of singing along 😁 We rounded off the morning with everyone joining in for a fantastic rendition of Hey Jude - what a lovely way to finish!

Who's ready for the England game tonight? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽

This morning we enjoyed a lovely football-themed social gathering with tea, coffee, juices, biscuits and fresh fruit. We got moving with some gentle exercises to our favourite football songs, waving our England flags with pride! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

There was plenty of laughter, chatting and, of course, everyone joined in singing Sweet Caroline... 🎶 "Ba, ba, ba!" 🎶

A fantastic morning together. Come on, England! 🦁🦁🦁⚽❤️
