We are a relatively new organisation based in Devon providing personalised support. Our mission is to change the face of services for vulnerable people and those at risk of exclusion. We relish working with people who have been labelled as 'challenging' and have much experience in this field having been set up on the back of Partners for Inclusion a Scottish organisation that has been working in a

n individualised, person centred way for the last 15 years. By individualising the service we provide we are immediately treating people with respect and putting the power of how they wish to live their lives in their own hands. This in itself goes part way reducing any so called 'challenging behaviour, which is a method by which people tell us they are not happy. Each person we support has their own staff team, employed by them and for them, they have a place to live that they call home and where they chose who, if anyone, they share this home with. Each person has an individual ring fenced pot of money which is used as an Individual Service Fund (ISF) to meet their needs and wishes. This might include to pay for staff support, to get short breaks, to join a club where they can develop skills and meet people or for anything else that might help them achieve a great life (good outcomes).

☀️ Kayleigh's Enchanted Garden in Full Bloom 🌿🌸

Kayleigh has been hard at work in her Enchanted Garden recently, tending to her pond and caring for her beautiful plants. 🌸💚

With the sun shining and everything in bloom, it's the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors and see the results of all her hard work. Her garden is looking fantastic, and we're so proud of the care and creativity she puts into making it such a special place.

A huge shoutout to Heather and Lucy for the amazing job they did during their work experience at The Hideaway Cafe at Faraday Mill ☕💙

As part of the Fulfilling Futures programme, café owner Sam made a public appeal offering people with disabilities the opportunity to gain work experience, and our Service Leader Julie immediately jumped into action. From the very first meeting, it was clear that Sam’s values and passion for inclusion aligned so closely with everything we believe at Beyond Limits.

Heather and Lucy quickly became valued members of the team at The Hideaway, getting involved in all areas of café life, including making drinks, preparing food and serving customers on the till. They both did an absolutely outstanding job and should be incredibly proud of themselves.

Everyone at the café and all of us here at Beyond Limits are so proud of everything they achieved during their placement. Their confidence, hard work and enthusiasm truly shone through every day.

A special thank you to Sam and everyone at The Hideaway Cafe for opening their doors and creating such a welcoming and supportive opportunity for Heather and Lucy. They both loved the experience, and we really appreciate the support and kindness shown to them throughout. 💙

We recently came together to celebrate a fantastic achievement 🎉

Ross, one of our service leaders, recently delivered a First Aid Appointed Person course for some of the people we support, and it was great to see everyone complete the training successfully.

We enjoyed a lovely get-together to present the certificates and recognise all the hard work and effort that went into learning these important skills. Congratulations to everyone who took part and achieved their qualification 👏

🌸✨ A Blooming Lovely Afternoon at Beyond Limits ✨🌸

We recently held a bouquet-making workshop in preparation for an upcoming special event 💐

The people we support and our staff spent the afternoon getting creative together, carefully arranging flowers and putting their own touch on each bouquet. 🌼🌷 The results look lovely!

These handmade bouquets will be used to decorate our venue for an upcoming party, and we’re looking forward to seeing everything come together. 🎉

We had a wonderful time at our Easter workshop recently! 🐣✨

Staff and the people we support came together for a fun, creative afternoon filled with Easter arts and crafts, laughter, and teamwork. From colourful creations to getting hands-on making delicious rice crispy cakes, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

We also held an exciting Easter raffle, adding even more fun to the day. Congratulations to all our winners! 🎉

It was a fantastic way to celebrate the season, get creative, and spend quality time together💛

Ross recently ran some first aid sessions for the people we support 👏

The people we support and their teams got hands-on building first aid kits 🩹 practising bandaging and dressing techniques, learning CPR and other essential first aid skills ❤️

It was amazing to see confidence growing, lots of smiles, and everyone learning together 😊

A fun and educational experience that gave some really valuable skills 💪

🦒 Heather’s Lovely Day Out at the Zoo 🐒

Heather recently had a lovely surprise when her cousin travelled down from London to visit! 😊

Heather, her sister and her cousin enjoyed a fantastic day out together at Paignton Zoo. They spent the day exploring, seeing lots of different animals and enjoying some great quality time together.

It was a brilliant day out and a wonderful chance for Heather to catch up with her family 💚
