The witch is in… and we’re all set for part two of Earth Energy Healing.

The woods are looking utterly beautiful in the late summer sunshine, making the perfect setting for another day of reconnecting with the natural world & turning our attention inward

There’s something really special about setting everything up in the woods before everyone arrives, a quiet few moments to arrange the space, take a breath & simply listen to what the trees & earth have to say

Today we’ll be exploring our elemental self, deepening that connection between the energies within us & the energies that surround us

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back & see where today’s journey takes us

This month, Folkbook takes us across the Atlantic & into the dark folklore of Tennessee, where the story of the Bell Witch has become one of America’s most enduring tales of haunting, witchcraft & the uncanny

But how much of the story is history & how much is folklore? And who, or what, was really haunting the Bell family?

Join me online as we explore the history of the Bell Witch, the stories that grew around her & the fascinating folklore that has kept her legend alive for generations

This weekend, we return to the land for Part Two of our Earth Energy Healing coure & we’ll be spending some time with a particularly fascinating figure from the British landscape, Elen 🦌

Often known as Elen of the Ways, she has become closely associated with ancient pathways, pilgrimage routes, the Earth itself & perhaps most recognisably, the deer

The connection between Elen & deer is particularly powerful. Deer have long held a place in British folklore & mythology, appearing as creatures of the forest, boundary spaces & the wild places beyond human settlement. They move between worlds with an almost ethereal grace, following paths through the landscape that we might not even notice

For us, Elen represents that relationship between people & place. The paths beneath our feet. The ancient routes through woodland. The instinct to follow where the land leads rather than always knowing exactly where we’re going

As part of our Earth Energy Healing journey, we’ll be exploring what it means to connect with the energy of the land around us & how figures such as Elen can help us understand that relationship through a distinctly British lens

Sometimes the Earth has been speaking to us all along. We just need to learn how to listen

Shadow work has become a bit of a buzzword, but at Callisto we want to go deeper than that

I’ve created two ways for you to explore your shadows this autumn, depending on how you like to work

🌑 The Obsidian Path
A four part online workshop beginning 23 September. Together we’ll explore shadows, archetypes, triggers & the patterns beneath the surface, creating space for greater self awareness, understanding & integration

🌒 Into the Shadow
A full day workshop at Harewood Estate on 17 October, offering guided shadow work, reflection & practical exercises in a beautiful setting

Both are invitations to look a little closer at the parts of yourself you might usually avoid

Do you ever put something down at home because “I’ll deal with that later”…

And then, somehow, three weeks later it’s become a full blown altar, crystal display or tiny shrine?

A crystal here. A candle there. A pretty stone you found on a walk. Maybe a little bowl that definitely wasn’t intended for witchy things…

Suddenly you’ve accidentally created a whole new sacred corner

The witch is coming to Harrogate… & I really want to see you there

Soon we’ll be packing up the Callisto magic and heading to the Harrogate Health & Healing Festivals & honestly, I’d love for you to come & find us

If you’ve been following Callisto for a while, come & say hi. Come & have a rummage through the witchy treasures. Come & talk folklore, crystals, magic, shadow work or whatever strange & wonderful thing has been occupying your mind lately

And if you’ve never been to one of our events before, this is a lovely chance to meet us in person & get a little taste of what Callisto Holistics is all about
