Autism awareness day ⭐️ Sharing awareness and acceptance for Autistic individuals isn’t about one day to me, it’s a celebration everyday, within work life and home life. I see the superpower. I have the superpower!

⭐️ Spill the tea is back next week! ⭐️

Join us on Thursday 19th March 2026 for peer support related to Neurodiversity in children and teens.

It was really nice to begin the peer support group last week, with some lovely connections made. The main topic of conversations were -

⭐️ Navigating the education system
⭐️ Supporting sensory needs
⭐️ Advocating for your child
⭐️ The SEN between area - Children who are struggling in a mainstream school yet don’t meet the criteria for a specialist provision

Did you know that a child under the age of 16 years old with mental health difficulties or neurodiversity may be entitled to claim Disability Living Allowance (DLA), the additional finance can be used for any extra things that the child may need, including therapy or therapeutic activities to aid recovery. For young people and adults over the age of 16 years old, you may be entitled to claim Personal Independence Payment (PIP). The benefits are not means tested and do not require a formal diagnosis.
