We live in a world where “good” is often defined for us.

👉Social media tells us it’s six-pack abs.

👉Magazines tell us it’s the number on the scales.

👉Friends and family tell us what we “should” be doing, or ‘be happy as you are’!

But here’s the reality ⬇️

💡’Good’ only matters if it’s YOUR version of it.

For one person, good might mean:

If I had to simplify fat loss for busy people into 3 rules:

It would be this:

💪Train 3x per week (max 45 mins)
💪Hit protein + control calories
💪Walk daily (non-negotiable)

That’s it.

No extremes.
No overcomplication.
No burnout.

Do this consistently for at least 8-12 weeks…

And your body will change.

Most people just don’t stick to anything long enough.

I didn’t.

Max is 14.
Harry is 17.

Both train.
Both are getting in great shape.
Both understand discipline.

And no…

I’ve never lectured them about fitness.
Never forced meal plans on them.
Never dragged them into the gym.

👉Because kids rarely do what you tell them.

They DO what they SEE!

That’s the real lesson.

Since they were toddlers, they’ve watched me:

✔️Train consistently
✔️Prioritise my health
✔️Talk about nutrition
✔️Go to the gym even when I didn’t feel like it
✔️Look after my body
✔️Stay disciplined

Not because I was “teaching” them.

Just because that’s how I live.

And over time…

They made their own conclusion:

“This matters.”

That’s how influence works.
Not through lectures.
Through example.

And this goes far beyond fitness.

Because kids are always watching.

🤔How you handle stress.
🤔How you treat your partner.
🤔How you speak to strangers.
🤔How you react when life gets hard.
🤔How often you drink.
🤔Whether you smoke.
🤔Whether you lose your temper.
🤔Whether you show kindness.
🤔Whether you keep promises.

They see ALL of it.

And repeated behaviour becomes normal.

That’s the scary part.

Because many parents obsess over what they say…

While ignoring what they demonstrate.

Now, of course…

Kids are individuals.

Some rebel.

Some choose a completely different path.

But let’s not pretend environment doesn’t matter!

Because it does. Massively.

Be disciplined.

If you want respectful kids…

Be respectful.

If you want healthy kids…

Live healthy.

The problem is that we ignore the basics because they’re not exciting.

While people chase supplements, biohacks, detoxes, and the latest health trend…

The biggest predictors of a longer, healthier life remain remarkably simple.

✅ Build muscle.
✅ Walk daily.
✅ Sleep properly.
✅ Manage stress.
✅ Eat mostly real food.
✅ Stay hydrated.
✅ Maintain meaningful relationships.

The reality⁉️

Your life expectancy is largely determined by the habits you repeat every day.

Not what you do occasionally.
Not what you intend to do.
Not what you save on Instagram.

The strongest people in their 70s and 80s rarely have secret protocols.

They simply spent decades doing the boring things consistently.

Read this.

Burnout doesn’t happen overnight.

It’s rarely one dramatic breakdown.

It’s the slow accumulation of things you keep ignoring.

⚠️ Chronic stress
⚠️ Poor sleep
⚠️ Processed food & sugar crashes

⚠️ Overtraining without recovery

The day I realised this, my coaching changed overnight.

Fat loss isn’t the hard part. Chaos is😳

And most busy professional men are drowning in it.
Not because they don’t care.
But because they have:

• Too many tactics
• Too many opinions
• Too little structure

They try:
Low carbs...
Intermittent fasting...
Extra cardio...
“Just be more disciplined.”

And every time it breaks…
They blame themselves.

But here’s what I learned after coaching high-performing men 40+:
Fat loss doesn’t fail because of effort.

It fails because of decision fatigue.

When your day is already full of pressure and responsibility…
You don’t need more choices.
You need fewer.

Here’s what actually works:

Why⁉️

Because they’re the “capable” ones.

The ones everyone relies on…
The high performers…
The problem-solvers…

The people who say:

“I’ll sort it.”
“I know what I’m doing.”
“I just need to be more disciplined.”

And that works…

In business.
In leadership.
In life.

😳Until it doesn’t.

Because health is where a lot of high performers quietly struggle.

Not from lack of intelligence.

But because they treat health like another problem to solve alone.

So they:

Download another plan.
Try another app.
Start another challenge.
Go all-in for 10 days.
Fall off.
Get frustrated.
Repeat.

Meanwhile…
