💜Celebrating 10 years of care! 💜

This year marks 10 years since Charlotte founded the company in July 2016, following a 23-year career as a paramedic.

What started as a small home help service has grown into a trusted care company supporting over 50 clients across the Penwortham area. Throughout the years, our aim has always remained the same – helping people stay safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.

As clients come and go, we've been privileged to meet so many wonderful people and their families, each leaving a lasting impression on us. We are grateful for every person who has been part of our journey, whether as a client, family member, or member of our amazing team.

Thank you for your support over the years. Here's to celebrating our first 10 years and looking forward to many more! ❤️

Care work is incredibly rewarding, but because we are always out visiting clients, it can also be a bit lonely. We rarely see each other on shift, which is why our team nights out are so important for catching up, letting our hair down and having a proper chat 🍾🥂

To the lovely ladies who missed the last one because you were working to keep our clients safe - we missed you.
The next night is being planned so we can all get together.

At Willows Home Care, we love getting our clients out into the community. The recent trip to the garden centre was the perfect change of scenery.
Not only does it provide a sensory rich environment but it also prompts wonderful memories and conversations.

🌟 We have our very own Jigsaw Queen at Willows! 🧩

It’s been absolutely lovely to encourage one of our wonderful ladies to get back to something she truly enjoys. She has been completing her puzzles with style. Moments like these remind us how important it is to support our clients in reconnecting with the hobbies that bring them joy.

Our activity box is always stocked with jigsaws, games, and plenty of books to borrow, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

At Willows Home Care, we believe that staying active isn't just about movement - its about doing the things you love.
One of our carers spent the afternoon with her client getting hands on in the kitchen. Together they made some delicious homemade pies.
Keeping busy in the kitchen is such a fantastic way to boost mobility, coordination and happiness.
The clients husband was more than happy to be the official taste tester and he has given the pies a glowing 10/10 😋😋

We are excited to share the news of our Book and Puzzle Club.
Our new club is the perfect way for our clients to dive into a new story, challenge themselves with a puzzle, or enjoy a friendly game with us or a family member or friend. Our carers encourage and participate with the activities with our clients.

Why we love it:
😍 - Keep cognitive skills sharp and focused
😍 - A book or puzzle is the perfect "icebreaker" for a chat

Whether its a quiet afternoon reading, doing a puzzle or even having a competitive game, there is something for everyone.
