He mentions dignity, and he mentions his mum. Both matter. When someone is supporting a partner at home, the care that arrives is supporting two people, not one, and we plan it that way.

Most people picture care work as a list of tasks done against the clock. That isn't how we work. Our visits are a minimum of one hour, which means there's time to do things properly and sometimes that means a walk to the park.

Two of Preston's most beautiful green spaces, side by side beside the River Ribble. Gentle paths, pretty gardens and the lovely Pavilion café make this a perfect spot for a slow stroll, a sit in the sun, or a cuppa with good company. Level, accessible walkways make it easy for everyone.
🏛️ The Harris, Flag Market
Preston's much loved museum, gallery and library in the heart of the city free to visit, warm, welcoming and full of things to spark a memory or a good conversation. A wonderful rainy day option too.

The historic Flag Market regularly hosts markets and open-air events through the summer a friendly place to potter, people-watch and enjoy the city buzz. Worth checking what's on the day you visit.

🧡 Meet Sheila,

One of the wonderful faces behind Right at Home South Liverpool

Some visits are about personal care. Others are about something just as important: company, conversation and a friendly face to look forward to.
That's where Sheila comes in.
Sheila spends her days out and about with our Clients on social calls sharing a cup of tea and a proper chat, a walk in the sunshine, a trip to a favourite café, or simply time spent together doing the things that make a day brighter. It sounds simple, but for many of our Clients these visits are the highlight of their week.

Companionship matters. A regular, familiar face eases loneliness, lifts spirits and keeps our Clients connected to the things and people they love. Sheila does that beautifully with warmth, patience and a genuine interest in every person she visits.
