Acupuncture questions this week..

1️⃣ What is it..

The application of needles into designated points on the body

2️⃣ Why?!

Discovered by the Chinese, the needles stimulate nerve endings which are located on specific pathways or meridians, which become blocked restricting energy flow or chi

3️⃣ Does it work?!

Yes. During treatment signals are sent to the brain to release hormones which provide the body with natural pain relief.

For me personally, acupuncture provides an opportunity to vary my treatments, in this case providing results for a talus fracture.
