We continue to promote the LCC initiative, Strive to Thrive with a Culture and identity theme last week.
We talked about childhood memories, shared our stories, wore clothes that relate to our identity, took part in cultural crafts and made an Oakfield family tree (even the dog wasn't safe) 🐾💚

Sending huge congratulations to Becca who has successfully gained an in-house promotion and is now Deputy Matron.
Becca has worked incredibly hard in the last 6 years since qualifying as a nurse, and we are very pleased to have her on the management team.

Tickets are now on sale for our bingo night on Fri 4th of September - only £5 a ticket 🎟
Raffle tickets also on sale - £1 a strip
All tickets are available from the activity team or the general office.

We are collecting prizes for our raffle and tombola that will be drawn on the night - again please give to the activity team or general office 😃

Our last bingo night was great fun and a real success - come and join in the fun

All proceeds to the resident activity fund

We have had a busy few weeks here in the home, with lots of fantastic activities going on.
Whether it's an entertainer, crafts or gardening we try to ensure there is always something planned.
As a result, our supply cupboard is running low.
