Dearly beloved husband of the late Vera, loving dad of Tim and Liz, dear father in law of Debra and Mick, much loved grandad of Chris, Lucy, Kate and Mike, dearly love great grandad of Ozzy and dear friend to many.

A Funeral Mass for Dick will be held at St. Clare’s R.C. Church, Fulwood on Thursday 25th June at 12:45pm, prior to committal at Preston Crematorium.

Who passed away peacefully at home on Monday 8th June, aged 82 years.

Beloved wife of the late James Cardwell, loving Mum to Bernadette, the late James, Phillip and the late John Cardwell, much loved Mother-in-Law to Alan, Christine and Rachel and a much-loved Grandma and Great Grandma.

'The sorrow we feel when we lose a loved one is the price that we pay to have had them in our lives.’

Requiem Mass and interment will take place at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Gt. Eccleston on Wednesday 24th June at 1.30pm.

Please feel free to wear clothes with a splash of colour to match Mary’s vibrant and colourful personality.

In Loving Memory of Sheila Daly

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, Sheila, who died peacefully recently after a long and courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease.

Many of you will remember Sheila from her highly successful career as a pharmacist and branch manager for Boots across the North West, before retiring from the Fleetwood branch in 2003 for health reasons. She was a dedicated professional, a wonderful sister, and a dear, fun-loving, and wise friend to many.

Funeral Details:

Date: Monday 15th June 2026

Time: 12:45 PM

Location: Preston Crematorium, Longridge Rd, Preston PR2 5BY

Dress Code: Black is not essential—a splash of colour (especially yellow or orange) would be great!

Afterwards:
All are welcome to join us to celebrate her life at The Plough, 187 Preston Road, Grimsargh, Preston PR2 5JR.

Joyce, the beloved wife of the late Ron, loving mum of Gillian and son in law Alan, cherished Gran of John, Tom and Joe and treasured Great Gran of Martha, Max, Lissy, Bobby, Freddie, Grace and Eliza.
Joyce will be sadly missed by all who knew and love her.

Funeral service will take place at Preston Crematorium on Friday 19th June at 2.15pm.
