I take time to listen and suggest different treatments, making adjustments to truly meet your needs.
I'm flexible about meeting your needs ...
Recently one of my regular clients who has been coming to see me for many years decided that he would benefit from something very different to his usual back massage. He felt that something gentler and soothing was needed to calm him. So we agreed on me massaging his face, including around the ears, neck, shoulders and hands.
It was very different massage with a very different outcome for him ... more settling, quieting ... more softening.
Face stroking is something many of us do intuitively to our children, our loved ones to calm and soothe. Emerging science backs this up as face massage can stimulate trigeminal sensory pathways, and some forms of facial or auricular stimulation can activate vagal pathways, producing calming effects.
