Passed away peacefully on 2nd June 2026, aged 74 years.

A loving Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday 30th June 2026 at St. Paul’s Church, Abertysswg at 1:45pm, followed by committal at Llwydcoed Crematorium, Aberdare at 3:00pm.

No flowers, please.

Donations in memory of Alun may be made to The Merthyr Tydfil Dialysis Unit and Calon Hearts.

Refreshments will be served following the service at Abertysswg Rugby Club, where family and friends are warmly invited to gather and share memories of Alun.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan Jones, known to everyone as “Bonesy” aged 32 years of Farm Tce. Phillipstown.
Bonesy was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and the warmth he brought to everyone who knew him.
Though his time with us was far too short, he touched countless lives with his compassion, humour, and generosity.
Bonesy’s funeral service will take place on Saturday 27th June 2026 at Sirhowy Valley Crematorium, Blackwood at 11:30am.
Immediate family flowers only.
Donations would be gratefully accepted for MIND Cymru. There will be a donation box at the Crematorium or c/o the family.
IT’S A SATURDAY SO IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED IF YOU COULD WEAR A SPORTS TOP OF YOUR CHOICE, BONESY WOULD HAVE LOVED THAT.

Averil’s funeral service will take place on Wednesday 10th June 2026, 1:30pm at The Salvation Army, Glebeland Place, Merthyr Tydfil. CF47 8BH. Following the service a burial will take place at Bedwellty Cemetery at 3:00pm
Donations in lieu of flowers would be gratefully accepted to be later forwarded to St. David’s Hospice Care and The Salvation Army.
