Role Description
This role is located in Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton for a Community Care Worker with driving responsibilities. As a Community Care Worker you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, assist with daily living tasks, and ensure the holistic well-being of service users. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and transportation to appointments or errands as needed. Building strong, trusting relationships with clients and maintaining accurate records of care are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
• Experience in caregiving, personal care assistance, and supporting individuals' daily living needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
• Valid driver's license and access to a car with the ability to travel within Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton.
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to care.
• Previous experience in health and social care (desired but not essential).
• Relevant certifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care, are an advantage, however full training and a uniform will be provided
• Competitive rates of pay above NMW along with Holiday Pay and Mileage Allowance

Dear Kobi,
It was good to talk with you on Tuesday this week and, as discussed, I wanted to take a minute to thank you and your team for the exemplary service provided to my mother and I.
Sometimes I think an illustration helps so, in terms of your office team yourself, Rachel and Julie have always told me I should worry about nothing and you guys would sort it out. It has always been easy to contact you and your approach has always been kind, sympathetic, considerate and helpful. More than that you go the extra mile as a matter of course.
You truly define how service should be provided. It is platinum standard I cannot begin to tell you how reassuring and helpful this has been for my mother and I.
The other members of your team deserving special mentions are Zara and Levi. Both provide exceptional care in a very professional manner. Zara and Levi are excellent ambassadors for BevanCare and they are both right on top of their job and I am so lucky to have them caring for my mother
I need to add one final thing. My mother says Levi is wonderful. From what I have seen and how Levi has helped me when she was not working I also think also Levi is very special. I can hear the pleasure in my mother’s voice when she says Levi is coming. Levi’s caring skills and work ethic go way beyond duty.
Levi is real caring in action, she sets the standard by which others should be measured.

Hi Julie.
Just wanted to send a note thanking you for all your help on Thursday regarding taking my mum to have an x ray in Oldham.
Mohammed and Becky were brilliant, they put my mum at ease and stayed with her all the time. They did everything they could to make the journey as comfortable as possible as she has not been out of the house for ages.
Once again thank you for al your help in organising that ambulance and letting Mohammed and Becky take my mum . They definitely went over and above
what they needed to do they are great carers and always have time an patience with her they are a credit to your company.

I wanted to take a moment to share some positive feedback regarding your care staff. The team supporting our client have truly excelled in their roles. They have consistently demonstrated initiative and have gone above and beyond their duties to ensure both the safety and meaningful engagement of the client.

As you are aware, the client has historically struggled to accept support. However, on this occasion, your staff have shown remarkable persistence and skill in building trust and offering reassurance. Their approach has clearly made a significant difference.

I have been particularly impressed that, even during times when direct engagement is limited, staff proactively carry out other tasks around the home to promote the client’s overall wellbeing. Their efforts have also provided much-needed reassurance and a vital support network for the client’s understandably exhausted family.

On a personal note, I would like to highlight Julie and Kobi, who have both been exceptionally accommodating, particularly in responding to urgent care packages, including those involving highly complex and multi-disadvantaged cases. Their flexibility and professionalism have not gone unnoticed.

Please could you pass on my thanks to all staff involved? Both myself and the client would like to express our appreciation—the client specifically commented that the carers are “very kind, lovely, and most importantly, non-judgemental.”

Huge well done to all of our dedicated staff 👏👏 💙💙Afternoon Kobi – I wanted to take the opportunity to thank your staff for delivering an excellent service to my dad, We have visits 3 times a day and your staff present in a very caring way and take on any requests we have. I have to comment that Sundas is one of my dads and the family’s favourite. She always presents with a very mature demeanour and is extremely professional – she is often guiding her colleagues. We would like you to pass on our thanks to her too.

Whenever I have rung the office and spoken with Julie- she has always been extremely helpful and responsive. You do have a lovely team.
