Our next improvement ahead of setting up Fusion8, the latest machine by Plasmapenuk! This is a game changer! It does so much and, we have Clients waiting for it already! 🙂 Watch this space for before and after images, very keen to get going with this. All Staff will be specialising in their own Fusion8 treatments, as it is so varied.

Big shout out today to Steve from Jackson’s Hub, who laboriously put together new units for the Salon and, at the same time attended an RTA on the Main Road, in blistering heat, providing First Aid, cold water and reassured the injured Drivers.

With UK melanoma cases projected to reach 26,500 a year by 2038, the beauty industry is stepping up – and it is urging the Government to do the same…

In May 2025, the All Party Parliamentary Group for Beauty, Hair & Wellbeing (APPG), supported by the British Beauty Council, launched the UV Safety Inquiry. Chaired by Carolyn Harris MP, the inquiry investigated the main causes of UV damage in Britain.

Now, a year on from the start of the inquiry, the APPG has launched report, A Preventable Crisis: The Case for a National UV Safety Strategy. It recommends that the UK Government adopts a national UV strategy, focusing on:

✔️ Public awareness.
✔️ Education.
✔️ Cost & accessibility.
✔️ Protection for outdoor workers.
✔️ Artificial UV regulation.
✔️ Tackling misinformation.
