As we approach Inspirit’s 2nd birthday, we’ve found ourselves reflecting on just how far this space has come.
In some ways, it feels like a lifetime ago that we first opened our doors. In others, the past two years have flown by in the blink of an eye!!
So much goes into keeping a studio open each day. Beyond the classes, there are the countless unseen hours, the ideas, the planning, the energy, the learning, the adapting, and the commitment to holding a space with integrity, care, and purpose.
Along the way, we’ve been supported by an incredible community;
Our regular teachers and cover teachers who bring their energy, wisdom, and dedication to the space.
Our members who show up week after week and make Inspirit part of their lives.
The drop-ins who were curious enough to walk through the door.
The people who practised with us in the past and helped shape who we are.
The new faces who are only just discovering us.
From the very beginning, it was always about you.
Creating a space where people could connect, move, breathe, grow, and feel supported. A space that brings people together and lifts them up.
The reality is that running a small independent business isn’t always easy. With the challenges happening in the world and the rising cost of living, there have certainly been moments that have tested us. But through it all, this community has continued to show up, and for that we are deeply grateful.
To be approaching our second birthday feels incredibly special and thank you for every class attended, every recommendation shared, every positive word spoken, and every moment you’ve spent in this space.
Inspirit is what it is because of the people within it.
