Yesterday, Therafit CIC was proud to host our very first Girls’ Football Tournament β€” and what an incredible day it was! β˜€οΈβš½

With beautiful weather, fantastic teamwork, and over 80 girls taking part, the energy throughout the day was truly inspiring. Every team played brilliantly, showing resilience, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship both on and off the pitch.πŸ’―

It was amazing to see coaches, parents, and local communities come together to celebrate girls’ sport and support the next generation of players.

A huge thank you to Nick Robinson for helping organise such a successful event, and special recognition to our two young referees, Chicco and Grace, who were absolutely outstanding throughout the tournament.πŸ™

Well done to every team that took part πŸ‘
And congratulations to our finalists, Bleak Hill and Beechwood, for an intense and exciting final that went all the way to a penalty shootout! Every player gave it their allπŸ’―

A massive congratulations to our winners β€” Bleak Hill! πŸ†βš½

πŸ’š Mental Health Awareness Week – Day 5 πŸ’š

🌟 Be kind to yourself.

We all have difficult days, and it’s important to remember that you don’t have to be perfect all the time. Take things one step at a time and give yourself the same kindness and understanding that you would give to others. πŸ’™

Rest when you need to, celebrate the small wins, and remember that looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your physical health.

You are doing better than you think ✨

Mental Health Awareness Week – Day 4 πŸ’š

🀝 Connection matters.

Spending time with others, having a chat, sharing a laugh, or simply knowing someone is there can have a huge impact on our mental health and wellbeing.

In a world where many people struggle in silence, let’s continue to support one another, check in with friends and family, and remind people they are never alone. πŸ’™

A simple conversation can brighten someone’s day more than you realise.

Mental Health Awareness Week – Day 3 πŸ’š

🌿 Take time to rest and recharge.

Life can get busy, stressful, and overwhelming at times, which is why it’s important to slow down and look after yourself. Rest is not being lazy β€” it’s part of maintaining good mental health. πŸ’™

Whether it’s taking a break, going for a walk, listening to music, spending time with loved ones, or simply having a quiet moment to yourself, make time for the things that help you feel calm and recharged.

You can’t pour from an empty cup 🧠✨

πŸ’š Mental Health Awareness Week – Day 2 πŸ’š

πŸ—£οΈ Talking helps.

No one should feel like they have to struggle alone. Opening up and having a conversation can make a huge difference to how we feel.

Whether it’s a friend, family member, colleague, or support group β€” reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness. πŸ’™

Check in on yourself and each other. Sometimes the smallest conversation can have the biggest impact.

πŸ’š Mental Health Awareness Week – Day 1 πŸ’š

πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Movement is good for the mind 🧠

Whether it’s a walk, the gym, dancing, football, or simply getting outside for some fresh air β€” moving your body can have a huge positive impact on your mental health and wellbeing.

Small steps still count. Keep moving, keep talking, and keep looking after yourself πŸ’™
