Cervical screening is a test that checks the health of your cervix and can help prevent cervical cancer. It’s also sometimes known as a smear test.

It’s offered to women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64. When your screening invite arrives, don’t let it slip to the bottom of your list.

An NHS programme is offering eligible Year 13 students and under-25s starting university or residential further education for the first time two doses of the MenB vaccine, helping protect against this rare but potentially life-threatening infection.

With close contact in student accommodation increasing the risk of infection, getting vaccinated is an important step before starting this next chapter.
