Many people with cataracts say that reading feels like trying to read through a foggy window or a camera lens with a smudge on it.

Early signs while reading-

🔹 Holding books closer or farther away than usual.
🔹 Needing brighter light.
🔹 Losing your place on the page.

If you find you are doing any of the above, a simple eye examination can confirm if there is a cataract present.

If you have any concerns about your vision, please get in touch.

The front of the eye consists of the cornea, the clear outer layer which covers the surface of the eye, and the sclera, the tough ‘white’ of our eyes.

It’s exposed to the outside world, and so is susceptible to a range of conditions including infections, reactions and dystrophies, all of which can lead to sight loss if not treated promptly.

If you have any concerns about your vision get in touch or visit your opticians.
