Please note that the practice will be closed from 1:00pm on Tuesday 8 September for important staff training and updates.

If you need urgent medical advice during this time, please contact NHS 111 online or by phone.

For medical emergencies, please call 999 or attend your nearest A&E Department.

We will reopen as usual on Wednesday 9 September.

💉 Flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations Available at Port View Surgery

We're pleased to let our patients know that, alongside our usual flu vaccination programme, we'll also be offering COVID-19 vaccinations at the practice for those who are eligible.

Eligible patients will receive an invitation once booking opens. As appointments are available on a first come, first served basis, we'd recommend booking promptly using the link provided in your invitation.

🩺 RSV Vaccination Clinics Available

We are currently running RSV vaccination clinics for eligible patients.

You may be eligible if you: ✅ Are aged 75 years or over ✅ Are aged 64 years or over and are immunosuppressed or have a chronic respiratory condition

If you have received an invitation, please use the booking link provided to arrange your appointment.

If you believe you are eligible but have not received an invitation, please contact the practice and we will be happy to help.

🚨 Bank Holiday Reminder 🚨

You need to allow at least 5 WORKING DAYS for your prescription to be available at the pharmacy.

💊 If you run out of your regular medication, your local pharmacy may be able to provide an emergency supply of most repeat medicines.

Last-minute requests for forgotten prescriptions can place significant pressure on our team and GPs, particularly over bank holiday weekends. Ordering early helps ensure you receive your medication on time and allows us to provide the best possible service to all our patients.
