🌟 We're Proud of Our GP Patient Survey Results! 🌟

A huge thank you to all our patients who took the time to complete the GP Patient Survey. 💙

The survey is carried out nationally each year and gives patients the opportunity to share their experiences of their GP practice. The feedback helps practices understand what's working well and where improvements can be made.

We're delighted to see such positive results, including:
✅ 98% of patients saying they have confidence and trust in their GP
✅ 93% saying their GP treats them with care and concern
✅ 93% saying their GP listens to them
✅ 84% finding our reception team helpful

We're incredibly proud of these scores and grateful for the trust our patients place in us every day. 🙏

📢 Practice Closure for Staff Training 📢

🏥 Port View Surgery will be closed for staff training from 1:00pm on Wednesday 14th October 2026.

✅ We will reopen at 8:30am on Thursday 15th October 2026.

📞 If you have an urgent medical issue that cannot wait until we reopen, please call 01752 840115 and hold for our message handling service.

💻 Need advice while we're closed? 📱 Our patients can access Kry, a free video consultation service with a clinician, often available during evenings and weekends. Simply download the Kry app from the App Store or Google Play, create an account, and book an appointment.

👁️ Minor Eye Conditions Many local opticians offer appointments through the MECS (Minor Eye Conditions Service).

🎓 Heading to University This September? Don't Forget to Register with a GP!

If you're moving away for university this September, it's important to register with a GP practice near your term-time address as soon as possible.

Even if you're only relocating to nearby areas such as Plymouth or Exeter, living in a different county can affect the healthcare services available to you, including referral pathways and access to certain local NHS services.

Being registered with a GP close to where you live during term time will help ensure you can access the right care and support promptly when you need it.

✅ Order any repeat prescriptions before you move
