👣People often think podiatrists “just cut nails”… but our role is so much more than that 💙

This week we received a beautiful thank-you card and a gift (although there was no need but appreciated) from a patient, after we picked up a medical condition during a routine appointment. Because it was identified early, they were able to receive the correct treatment quickly and safely.

It’s a lovely reminder of why we always ask you to complete your medical history and consent forms thoroughly and accurately.
Those questions aren’t just paperwork.
They help us:
• Spot warning signs
• Understand your overall health
• Keep treatments safe
• Advocate for you when something doesn’t look right

Sometimes a podiatry appointment can be the moment a bigger health issue is first noticed.
So next time you fill in your forms, please take your time and include everything — even if you think it’s unrelated to your feet.

Not podiatry related this post but when i find something I really like i think its lovely to share!!
We visited Low Tide Coffee while out for a walk today and it truly feels like one of those hidden little gems you’re so glad you stumbled across.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the loveliest team who make you feel instantly welcome. Even today when it was so busy, the staff keep everything running smoothly and never lose their friendly, relaxed vibe.
The prices are really reasonable too, which makes it perfect for a small treat without feeling guilty afterwards. Lovely coffee and the hubby had a great breakfast. It has that warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer.

❗️Cancellation Policy Reminder❗️

Please note — without wanting to sound like a broken record — we have unfortunately had a few cancellations with very short notice recently.

As stated in our consent form, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
We do have a waiting list of clients who would gladly take these appointments; however, they are very difficult to fill at short notice. These appointments can come at a significant cost for our little business.

Going forward, for this reason, any appointment not cancelled within 24 hours will be charged in full, and this fee must be paid before any future appointments can be booked.
We completely understand that occasionally things pop up unexpectedly, and any exceptions will be made at our discretion.
