🚻 Something you might not feel comfortable talking about… could still be worth talking about.

Changes in your urinary or reproductive health shouldn't be something you're embarrassed to mention.

Speak to a healthcare professional if you notice persistent changes such as:

• Blood in your urine
• Difficulty or pain when passing urine
• A change in how often you need to urinate
• Persistent pelvic or urinary symptoms

There is no such thing as an embarrassing symptom when it comes to your health.

Did you know your local pharmacy can help with more than prescriptions?

Pharmacists can provide advice and treatment for a range of common conditions.

Depending on your circumstances, your pharmacy may be able to help with conditions such as:

💊 Earache in children
🦠 Sore throat
🦠 Sinusitis
🩹 Infected insect bites
🚽 Urinary tract infections in some women
🧴 Impetigo
💊 Shingles

Using your local pharmacy can often be quicker and may save you a GP appointment.

Next time you're unsure where to go, ask your pharmacist.

📢 Reception Team Update

Due to staff sickness within our reception team, we are currently operating with reduced staffing.

We kindly ask for your patience as this may mean longer waiting times and delays in responding to calls and messages. Our team is doing everything possible to maintain our usual service and support everyone as quickly as we can.

💻 Please use our online services wherever possible for routine requests, such as contacting the practice, requesting repeat medication or accessing other available services.

📅 If your query is routine and can safely wait, please consider contacting us another day when our reception team is back to full capacity.

Thank you for your understanding.

📢 Anima update – your feedback matters

We’re aware that a recent Anima update has changed some of the questions patients and staff are seeing when using the platform.

We’ve received feedback that some of these changes have made the process less straightforward, and we want you to know that we are listening.

We’re actively feeding this back to Anima as a priority, particularly where the changes are affecting the patient or staff experience.

Your feedback is important, and we will continue to raise your concerns and push for improvements where needed.

💬 A little reminder about our Reception Team...

Our Reception Team may ask you a few questions when you contact the practice.

This isn’t about being nosy! It helps us understand how quickly you need to be seen and which member of the healthcare team is best placed to help.

Sometimes the right person may be a GP, but it could also be a nurse, pharmacist, physiotherapist, social prescriber or another member of the team.

The more information you can give us, the better we can help.

🚧 ROADWORKS – PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT 🚧

Just a heads-up for anyone visiting the surgery today — there are roadworks taking place outside the surgery, with traffic control in operation.

🚗 Please allow a little extra time for your journey and arrival, as there may be delays getting to and parking near the surgery.

If you have an appointment today, please plan ahead and leave plenty of time to arrive.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
