From this time, we have offered a personal, independent service and have been entrusted to support many families like yours throughout the very difficult time of a bereavement. Our lovely team members Kay and Sharon are certainly getting into the Halloween spirit! 👻🧙‍♀️ With their fabulous witchy outfits, they are bringing a little magic and mystery to the season.

At Eric Eyre Funeral Service, we understand how important memories, family traditions and the bonds we share can be. While Halloween is full of fun, it also reminds us of the many ways people honour loved ones who are no longer with us, whether through lighting a candle, sharing a favourite story or simply keeping treasured memories alive. 🕯️❤️

A day that felt right

Freddie's parents struggled with the idea of a traditional funeral because it didn't feel right for their son.

Knowing they had other choices allowed them to create an incredibly special day shaped around Freddie and the life he had known.

Doing Freddie Justice

Freddie was seven when his parents, Gemma and Dave, had to plan his funeral.

The wanted the day to reflect their son and honour his memory. Their independent funeral director listened and helped them create a deeply personal farewell that felt true to Freddie.

The art of what's possible

Vineet couldn't give his mother the farewell he wanted during the pandemic. That experience stayed with him when his father died.

This time, working closely with an independent funeral director helped the family understand the possibilities available. The result was an uplifting and personal ceremony beyond what Vineet had imagined.
