July has been a mixture of wobbling, healing, grieving, grounding and finding my feet again.

It’s reminded me that growth doesn’t have an end point when it comes to healing and doesn’t always look or feel confident.

Sometimes it looks like sitting with the uncertainty, nourishing yourself and continuing to believe that something beautiful is still ahead for you.

July has been relatively kind to me and given me some good lessons, how about you? 🌸✨

I wanted to share these little reminders because emotional support matters more than we realise.

When you’re healing from anxiety, overwhelm or years of survival mode, you don’t need advice or someone trying to fix you.

Sometimes you just need to hear:

I see you.
I understand.
I believe in you.
You are safe here.

You need to feel supported, encouraged and accepted as you are.

And you need to remember that you’re allowed to choose the people who help you feel that.

Healthy relationships should bring more calm than confusion. The right people won’t make you constantly question your self or feel as though you have to earn your place in their life.

Choose the people who help you feel safe, seen and able to be yourself.

I hope one of these little mental health reminders gives you exactly what you need today šŸ¤

Which one did you need to see today?

I thought healing was some destination where everything would feel perfect.

That I’d wake up one morning and boom I’m back to ā€˜normal’.

But it didn’t happen like that for me. It was much quieter. And actually it took a lot of unlearning and learning, rest and life style tweaks.

I do remember after a long period of chronic anxiety, where this time I’d been convinced I was losing my mind and losing myself, I remember the first time a smile suddenly appeared on my face.

It may sound like such a small thing, but you notice a smile when you haven’t genuinely smiled in a while.

Then came other tiny moments.

I felt a little lighter on waking up.

I began looking forward to things again.

My appetite returned.

I caught myself laughing.

I started trusting that perhaps I wasn’t going to feel that way forever.

Healing didn’t suddenly burst through the door and announce itself. It arrived in little glimmers that were easy to miss, but together they slowly led me back to myself.

So please don’t dismiss the small changes.

They may not feel like much yet, but they are signs that something inside you is beginning to heal.

And don’t try and rush it. Healing takes time.

But I promise…

One day, you’ll look back and realise those tiny glimmers were the beginning of you feeling ā€˜normal’ again. šŸ¤

What ifs can become an absolute breeding ground for anxiety.

They can keep us stuck and tangled in all sorts of self-limiting thoughts and beliefs.

But it isn’t the words ā€œwhat ifā€ that are the problem.

It’s the words we put after them.

These can rob us of enjoyment in our lives, or they can help us see possibilities we hadn’t allowed ourselves to believe in.

What if it goes amazingly?
What if I’m more capable than I think?
What if I can do the things I’m afraid I can’t?
What if it all works out?

I’m about to sell nearly everything I own and start a completely new adventure. ā˜ŗļø

And yes, the fearful what ifs are starting to get louder.šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

But, I’m choosing different words to follow them.

What if this is exactly what I need?
What if I love my new life?
What if this next chapter is better than I imagined?

I want to enjoy this adventure, not let fear hinder it or dim it before it has even begun.

So give it a go, guys.

When the what ifs appear, be intentional about what you put after them. And remember. - if you think you can or you think you can’t, You’re right!šŸ¤

Have you ever been told you’re too sensitive, difficult, overly dramatic, too much, or not enough?

I have. And for a long time, I believed it.

But those labels were never mine to carry.

Other people’s opinions belong to them. They are not your identity.

I’ve seen how we bloom when we feel safe, loved, and understood—when we’re no longer judged or made to feel wrong for being ourselves.

I’ve bloomed since learning this.

I may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but that’s not my burden.

There are people who will appreciate you exactly as you are.

Most importantly, you can learn to be one of them. šŸ¤—šŸŒ±āœØ

We forget how much power we have in the choices we make each day.

The people we spend time with.
The way we speak to ourselves.
The content we consume.
The pace we keep. (slow down!)
The thoughts we choose to hold onto.

Little by little, those choices shape both our inner world and the life we experience around us.

I know it’s not always easy. Life can feel heavy. There are times where simply getting through the day feels like enough. But even then, there is often one small choice that can make things feel a little lighter.

A walk in nature. (My fave ā˜ŗļø)
A chat with someone who feels safe.
Turning off the triggering content.
Being kinder to yourself.
Choosing a slower pace instead of pressure.

You don’t have to change your whole life overnight. Just keep choosing what brings you a little more peace, a little more hope and a little more of you.
