❤️ MEET THE TEAM | MEET BECKY ❤️

Meet Becky, our wonderful Practice Manager and Dispensing Optician here at Oracle Opticians.

With over 22 years of experience in optics, Becky brings a wealth of knowledge, skill and genuine care to everything she does. She’s an exceptional dispensing optician, but it’s her warmth, patience and dedication to our patients that make her so special.

Becky joined Oracle in its infancy, when we were just finding our feet. Back then, she worked just one day a week alongside Nadia.

I asked her to join us because I had a vision of what eye care should be: somewhere people feel listened to, valued and genuinely looked after.

And Becky believed in that vision.

It’s one thing to join an established practice. It’s quite another to put your trust in a new independent business, without knowing what the future holds. That takes courage and commitment, and I’ve never forgotten the faith Becky placed in us.

Today, she’s a valued member of my senior team, loved by our patients and respected by everyone who works with her. In fact, it feels as though she’s always been part of Oracle.

If you’ve met Becky, you’ll know how much care she puts into the little things. Whether she’s helping someone choose their glasses, reassuring a patient or supporting the team on a busy day, she always makes time for people. That’s the kind of person you want beside you when you’re building something that matters.

Becky, thank you. Thank you for believing in us from the beginning, for your hard work every day and for helping us build something we’re all proud of.

You haven’t simply helped grow a practice. You’ve helped shape its heart. ❤️

Please join me in showing Becky some love. We’re incredibly lucky to have her.

Meet the Team | Meet Nadia ❤️

Every great practice has people working behind the scenes who help make it what it is. And for Oracle Opticians, one of those people is Nadia Dyson-Mebrouk.

Nadia has been my right hand lady from the very beginning. When I first opened Oracle, she was there, helping me build something that was more than just another opticians.

With 26 years of experience in optics and customer service, including over 20 years as a qualified Dispensing Optician, Nadia brings an incredible wealth of knowledge, skill and, most importantly, genuine care for people.

As our Practice Manager, she’s been one of the backbones of Oracle, making sure that every patient who walks through our doors receives the care, attention and personal service they deserve.

But there’s something about Nadia that I’ll always appreciate.

She took a chance on me and my vision.

Joining a new independent practice, with no guarantees of where it might go, takes courage. But Nadia believed in what we were trying to build. She believed in putting people first, in doing things properly and in making a real difference to the lives of our patients.

And she’s helped turn that belief into something very special.

I’m incredibly grateful for her loyalty, her dedication and everything she brings to Oracle. We’re lucky to have her, and I know our patients feel the same.

Nadia, thank you for believing in the journey from day one. ❤️

Please join me in showing Nadia some love in the comments! 👇

Meet the Team Again! 👋 Starting with me.

Hi, I’m Jag, the owner and optometrist behind Oracle Opticians.

I’ve been an optometrist for over 20 years, but I can honestly say the last two years have changed the way I look at my profession.

When I took over Oracle Opticians, I wanted to build something different. Somewhere people felt listened to, cared for and, most importantly, understood.

But over the last two years, my purpose has grown into something much bigger than simply testing eyes and prescribing glasses.

I want to help bring people out of the darkness when it comes to their eye health.

One area particularly close to my heart is Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD).

I’ve met people who have been frightened about losing their sight. People who feel helpless after being told there’s little that can be done. People who worry about losing their independence and the ability to see the faces of those they love.

And those conversations stay with you.

They’ve given me a real sense of purpose.

Through education, early detection, ongoing care and new treatment options for suitable patients, I want to help give people something incredibly important.

Hope. ❤️

Not false promises. Not miracles. Just the reassurance that someone is listening, someone cares and someone is working hard to help preserve the vision they have.

If I can be even a small beacon of light for someone facing the uncertainty of sight loss, then I know I’m doing something worthwhile.

Oracle Opticians has grown so much over the last two years, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together.

But for me, success isn’t just about growing a business.

It’s about making a difference to someone’s life.

And that’s what gets me out of bed every morning.

Here’s to continuing that journey, one patient, one conversation and one pair of eyes at a time. ❤️

A massive thank you to for inviting me to the incredible ZEISS Summit in Dubrovnik 🇭🇷

What an experience. An amazing few days filled with learning, innovation, great people and some unforgettable activities.

ZEISS has been at the forefront of optics and precision technology for over 175 years, and I’m incredibly proud that we work so closely with a company that continues to push boundaries in eye care and vision.

I’m really excited about what’s ahead, from new products to future collaborations. 👓

And a huge shoutout to Bliss, our Regional Manager, for putting us forward for this opportunity. Thank you so much, it was genuinely appreciated. 🙏

Here’s a little look at what we got up to in Dubrovnik! 🇭🇷

It’s the little things that mean so much. ❤️

A lovely thank you card and a box of chocolates from one of our patients today. 🍫

Knowing someone has taken the time to say thank you genuinely means a lot to us.

We’re very grateful to have such wonderful patients. 🙏❤️

This genuinely made our day. ❤️

One of our lovely patients surprised Becky today with these little Halloween toys, all hand knitted by her, simply to say thank you for looking after her. 🧶🎃

Such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely reminder that what we do is about so much more than eyes.

It’s about people. ❤️
