At PCS (Personal Care Services) Ltd we recognise the individuals need for personal fulfilment and aim to offer individualised programs of meaningful activity to satisfy the needs of all our service users. We encourage involvement in the planning and delivery of services through our “person centred” approach to enable us to shape our services around the holistic needs and preferences of people we support and their families to ensure positive outcomes. We ensure we have regular communication with the people we support and their families through the assessment process and throughout the ongoing support package. We consider the wishes, needs, preferences and decisions of the persons being supported.

Last week, we encouraged our team to take a little extra time to enjoy a cuppa and a tasty treat with our clients ... and it looks like everyone understood the assignment! ☕🍰

Our carers and clients enjoyed plenty of tea, cake and good conversation, and of course the office team couldn't miss out on the fun either 😉

Thank you to everyone who got involved and sent in their photos. We loved seeing all those smiling faces! 💙

Today is World Humanitarian Day 🌎

A day to recognise the people who dedicate their time to helping, supporting and caring for others, often when they need it most.

We see the difference that kindness, compassion and human connection can make every single day. Sometimes it’s the smallest acts of care that have the biggest impact.

Today, we’d like to say thank you to the amazing volunteers around the world who are making a difference to the lives of others.

We’d also like to thank our incredible care staff, our wider team, and everyone within our community who continues to look out for others.

Full Time Care Assistants needed to provide support and companionship to clients of all ages, in their own homes throughout Pemberton in Wigan.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, caring and committed to providing a high standard of service. No experience required!

Competitive Pay Details:
• Pay Rate:�£13.45 per hour
• Paid Mileage: 20p per mile
• All Public Holidays paid at Double Time

Job Benefits:

Job Details:
• Part Time Hours: minimum 16 hours per week
• Shift Patterns: 7:00am till 3:00pm & 3:30pm till 10:30pm�
• Full Initial Training and Induction will be provided
• Driving & Walking Shifts available

Daily duties may include providing support with; Personal Care (Bathing, Toileting, Dressing etc), Medication, Meal Preparation and providing Companionship. Encouraging and organising visits into the Community may also be required, such as; Shopping and Appointments.

PCS is a family-run care provider, covering multiple areas within the Northwest of England. We are committed to supporting vulnerable people so that they can continue their lives with dignity and independence in their own homes.

It’s Afternoon Tea Week! 🍰

This week, we’re encouraging our care staff to make their visits a little sweeter by taking a tasty treat along to share with their clients.

Pick up a cake, biscuit or favourite treat, pop the kettle on and, where possible, spend a few extra minutes enjoying a good cup of tea and a chat together.

PCS will reimburse the cost of the treats, so please remember to keep your receipts and send them into the office.

We’d also love to see your Afternoon Tea Week moments! Please send your photos into the office (with the client’s permission) and we’ll share some of our favourites on our social media pages next week.

Sometimes the simplest moments; a cuppa, something sweet and good company, can mean the most and really make a difference to someone's week 💙
