Last week, some of our wonderful clients have been getting creative by decorating beautiful forget me not vases as part of our Dementia Action Week activities.

The forget me not flower is a symbol of remembrance, support and understanding for those living with dementia and these lovely creations certainly brought plenty of smiles, conversation and joy along the way.

Activities like these are so important in encouraging creativity, connection and meaningful moments together 💙

A huge well done to everyone who took part, we think they look fantastic! 🌼

It's Dementia Action Week 💙

This week, we’re proud to support an important campaign focused on raising awareness, encouraging understanding, and helping those affected by dementia feel supported within their communities.

Dementia impacts not only the individual, but also families, friends and carers. By having open conversations and increasing awareness, we can help create a more compassionate and dementia-friendly world.

Throughout the week, some of our wonderful clients will be taking part in a creative activity making paper forget-me-nots pictures 🌼 a symbol closely associated with dementia awareness and remembrance.

We’ll be sharing some of their beautiful creations later this week, stay tuned!

Our Director Nicola has been on her rounds this week ... She went to visit Stella and not only took her some yummy treats from the The Curious Cupboard but also a furry little companion to cuddle!
