If you've been feeling overwhelmed, anxious or simply not quite yourself, please know you don't have to keep pushing through alone. 🤍

One of the things my clients often tell me is how relieved they feel to discover they don't have to spend weeks revisiting the past or analysing themselves and every thought and feeling.

Often, you already have the awareness. You know what's been happening, but you just feel stuck in a negative cycle. With my approach, we can change that, by working with the subconscious mind where these patterns are stored.

My role is to meet you exactly where you are, help you understand what's happening in your mind, and gently guide you towards where you'd like to be and, most importantly, how you'd like to feel.

Through Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, we focus on reducing anxiety, stress and overwhelm, build self confidence, improve your sleep, and help you to reconnect with the version of yourself that may have felt hidden for a while.

If you'd like to find out more, I offer a free, friendly discovery call where we can explore how I may be able to help.

Have you ever noticed how easy it is for your mind to replay everything that went wrong, while completely overlooking what went well?

One of the first questions I ask my clients each week is, “What’s been good?” 💛

It’s not because I’m ignoring the difficult things. It’s because an anxious brain naturally scans for problems and potential threats. By intentionally noticing what’s been good, we’re helping your brain begin to recognise moments of safety, progress and possibility too.

Sometimes the answers are something big, but often it’s the small yet significant signs of progress such as;

✨ I slept a little better.
✨ I went for a walk.
✨ I felt calmer in that situation.
✨ I laughed today.

These moments matter. That’s why we focus on them, and celebrate them.

The more we notice what’s working, the easier it becomes for our brain to build on it. Over time, those small moments begin to create meaningful change, that lasts.

If you’re struggling with anxiety, stress or feeling overwhelmed, know that your brain can learn a different way. And that change often starts with one simple question…

What’s been good? 🦋

🤍 A NEW space... and a NEW chapter. 🦋

I'm so excited to finally share that Libelle Hypnotherapy has a beautiful new home in Riddlesden, alongside my practice in Skipton.

Creating a space where people can feel safe and comfortable to relax and focus on themselves has always been incredibly important to me.

Somewhere private you can walk through the door, take a deep breath, and know you don't have to have all the answers. Just a calm, welcoming space where you can be heard, understood, and have an open mind for positive change in your life.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, stress, burnout, OCD, poor sleep, low mood, fears and phobias, or simply feel like you've lost a little of yourself along the way, my hope is that every person who walks into this room leaves feeling lighter, more hopeful and more confident in themselves.

I'm especially pleased that this new location makes it easier for those in the Bingley and surrounding areas to access support, while I continue to see clients in Skipton and online.

If you've been thinking about reaching out but haven't quite found the right moment, perhaps this is your sign.

I offer a FREE Discovery Call- a friendly, relaxed conversation where you can ask any questions and explore whether Solution Focused Hypnotherapy feels like the right next step for you.

I'd love to welcome you into my new space. 🤍

Anxiety has a way of making us believe things that feel completely true.

✨ “I’m not good enough.”
✨ “Everyone’s judging me.”
✨ “I won’t cope.”
✨ “If I avoid it, I’ll feel better.”

The tricky part? Those thoughts can feel so convincing that they become our core beliefs about ourselves which dictates how we show up in life.

But here’s what I want you to know…

It’s not who you are. Anxiety is often a sign that your brain has become a little too good at trying to protect you. It overestimates danger and underestimates your ability to cope.

One of my favourite parts of my job is helping people understand what’s really happening in their mind. Because when you understand your brain, everything starts to make a little more sense… and that’s often where things start to change for you.

✨ Which “lie” has anxiety tried to convince you of?

Imagine never having to think about your next cigarette or v**e again... 🚭

Using Hypnosis, we take away the battle.

Imagine no longer being tied to a habit that, deep down, you know you don't even enjoy anymore.

Instead...

Imagine breathing more easily, feeling healthier, having more energy, saving money, feeling proud of yourself and the freedom that comes from knowing you're back in control.

If you've been waiting for the 'right time' to stop... perhaps this is it. I'd love to help you take that first step towards a healthier future.

Get in touch so we can help you leave this habit behind for good. Only one session is needed.

Most people come to me saying one thing...

“I just want to get rid of my anxiety.”

And I completely understand why!

Anxiety can feel exhausting when it’s been running the show for a long time. But what if the goal wasn’t to fight it? What if the goal was to understand it?
When we understand why our brain responds the way it does, we stop seeing anxiety as the enemy. We begin to recognise it for what it really is... a brain that’s been working overtime, trying to keep us safe.
With the right support, we can gently bring that protection system back into balance. So life doesn’t feel so heavy, and you can begin feeling more like you again.

If this conversation has resonated with you, I offer a free discovery call where we can explore what’s been going on and whether my approach feels right for you.

Sending you my best wishes,
Stephanie x 🦋

I didn't become a therapist because I had all the answers. 🤍

I became a therapist because, for a long time, I was the person searching for them.

As a teenager and into my early twenties, I struggled with anxiety, self-doubt, and a lack of confidence.

I knew there had to be something driving it all... I just didn't know what it was, or how to change it.

I remember sitting in university lectures and my heart would race, my mind would spiral, and I'd try to hide the panic attack I could feel building inside me.

Sometimes it became too much, and I'd quickly leave the lecture theatre just to escape the feeling. Then I'd spend the rest of the day feeling like I'd failed, dreading the next lecture, wondering if it would happen all over again.

As I got older, my anxiety developed into OCD tendencies. My mind was constantly searching for certainty and reassurance and it was exhausting. Then came another story I began to believe... that I wasn't good enough.

Despite having a degree in psychology and always dreaming of becoming a therapist, I convinced myself I wasn't capable of making that dream a reality. That it was too late, so in the comfort zone I stayed.

Looking back now, I can see that anxiety had quietly become the narrator of my life. Constantly holding me back. It was time for this to change and I looked for support. I discovered Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

For the first time, I began to understand what my brain was doing... and more importantly, why. I stopped seeing anxiety as something I needed to fight or get rid of. Instead, I learned how to work with my brain, rather than against it.

That experience didn't just change my mental wellbeing. It changed the direction of my life. I stopped letting anxiety decide what was possible for me. I got out of my own way. And I retrained as a therapist in the very approach that changed my life and that I knew would help change the lives of others.

Today, I have the privilege of helping people understand themselves with more compassion, reconnect with the person anxiety has been hiding, and realise they are capable of so much more than anxiety has led them to believe.

The girl who used to leave university lectures because she was having a panic attack... now stands in front of groups talking about the brain, anxiety and hope, and now says yes to opportunities that once would have terrified her.

If you'd asked me five years ago whether I'd be doing any of this, I would have smiled and said, "No way” - but all of that disbelief has changed now. I no longer run from that fear, I step towards it.

Do I still feel nervous sometimes? Of course! But it no longer gets to hold me back. I share my story because someone reading this might recognise a little of themselves in it... and realise they're not alone.

Because if there's one thing my own journey has taught me, it's this...

Life really can become better than you ever imagined possible!

And if you're reading this and wondering whether things could ever feel different for you... please know that they can.

This is why I do what I do. So others can discover that anxiety doesn't have to write the rest of their story, and you can be free to be the person who was hidden behind that anxiety.

Love,
Stephanie x 🦋

Sometimes the people who seem to be coping the best are the ones carrying the most. 🤍

From the outside, they're keeping everything going. They're showing up for work, looking after everyone else.

But underneath it all, their mind is constantly switched on. Overthinking, planning, preparing for the next “what if”. It’s exhausting.

With the right support, your brain can begin to find its balance again.

So life doesn't feel quite so heavy. And you can think more clearly, and have more capacity.

And when someone asks, "How are you?" the smile on your face... and the answer you give... are genuinely felt. 🤍

As always, I'm sending you my very best wishes.
