🌸 Celebrating the Anniversary of the WI 🌸

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon celebrating the anniversary of the Women’s Institute.

Our guest speaker, Jenny Harper-Jones, delighted us with an informative and animated talk on the history of the WI and the success of local groups within our villages.

The afternoon concluded with tea, cake and a lovely opportunity for our residents and guests to ask questions and share memories. ☕🍰

✨ Pampering doesn’t stop when you move into care. ✨

At Signature at Farnham Common, we believe our residents should continue to feel their very best, with opportunities to relax, be pampered and enjoy those little moments of indulgence.

Our beautiful therapy room provides a tranquil space for our dedicated Activities Team to create special pampering experiences.

And, of course, our residents can continue to enjoy visits from our professional hairdresser, keeping them looking and feeling fabulous.

Because moving into care shouldn’t mean leaving those little luxuries behind. Pampering is always part of the experience. 💜

🌞 A BBQ for a Brilliant Cause! 🌞

What a wonderful time we had at our Charity BBQ in support of Burnham Beeches Rotary.

Great company, delicious food and, most importantly, the joy of having everyone together. It was such a lovely opportunity for our residents, families, friends and team members to come together, enjoy the outside and make some special memories.

Events like these are so important, they encourage social connection, a sense of community and belonging, while providing opportunities to enjoy shared experiences.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to help make the day so special. We loved every minute! 💜

✨ A trip down memory lane… ✨

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon visiting Air Raid Shelter Cafe and Tea Room, for a delicious afternoon tea. ☕️🧁

We spent time looking around the photographs, memorabilia and displays, sharing stories, memories and conversations.

Activities like this are so much more than simply a day out. Reminiscence experiences can help stimulate memories, encourage conversation and support emotional wellbeing. Most importantly, they give our residents the opportunity to share their own stories and experiences and feel heard and valued. 💜
