So this week I have experienced, quite possibly ever emotion known. I’ve had excitement, fear, happiness, sadness, grief, and so much more in-between!

I’ve taken a 40 year old bike across the country, carried it over a mountain, ran another one!

I’ve spent 20 hours in white out fog, camped alone on the side of a hill, rolled in to towns across the country and had to arrange accommodation on the fly!

My legs are cut to bits, I’m bleeding and burnt, I’m tired beyond belief but strangely don’t want it to end!

The human body and mind are complicated and confusing at times—however it never fails to amaze me what is possible when we place ourselves in such a vulnerable space!

The strange thing In it all is secretly I’ve doubted myself at every stage but actually that’s not always a bad thing as it’s allowed me to show MYSELF that my opinions of myself, and my abilities are not free from distortion!

What’s the lesson?? Well that’s simple—give myself a little more credit for what’s possible rather than thinking I already have all the answers!

Oh and anything’s possible when you set to it!

I’m not a cyclist or even really an adventurer of sorts, yet there is something profoundly powerful to be found when we are willing to sit in our own discomfort ❤️🦣❤️@
