Ask people what a care home looks like and you will probably hear the same things.
Four walls?
TV on in the corner?
All days that all look the same?
Here is what the last few weeks have looked like at Marina and Daffodil Lodge.
Walks along the front in the sunshine. โต๐
Feeding the birds down by the water. ๐ฆ
Fresh air, sea breeze and proper conversation on a bench with a view. ๐
And both homes coming together for drinks at the lakeside bar in Southport, where Maureen was recently serenaded by the singer with Love Letters by Elvis. ๐ถ๐ค
Everyone had an absolutely brilliant time.
Summer is not over yet, and neither are the adventures.
Because life in a care home should look like life.
Sunshine, music, laughter and days worth talking about afterwards. ๐ฉต๐
