This small, family-run nursing home in Southport is seeking a Daytime Care Assistant to work up to 20 hours per week (it will include weekend and Bank Holiday work). Must be willing to work shifts between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Shifts can range from 5 hours to 12 hours. There is a potential this will increase to a full time role.
Rated as "outstanding" in care and "good" in all other areas by CQC, the home is a very friendly and supportive place to work with an owner/matron who values the happiness of both residents and staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibilities include providing the best quality care to all our residents, support with personal care needs, help with residents taking part in a wide range of activities that support their health and well-being such as crafts, yoga, listening to music, musical shows, garden activities in the summer and social occasions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous care work experience is not essential. You must be someone with the same values, be committed to learning and developing new skills, be someone with great ideas to help us continuously improve the already "outstanding" care we provide.

COVID-19 considerations: Temperature take upon arrival, PPE worn throughout the day in line with current guidelines. Employees are swabbed and tested for COVID-19 three times per week, and residents are tested every 28 days. Uniform is washed on site and does not leave the premises. All residents and staff have received both vaccines.
