Lakeside View Nursing Home

This week at Lakeside View has been full of residents favourites, that kept everyone busy and smiling. Residents enjoyed calming manicures and fresh styles during hairdressing, alongside lively games of darts, dominoes, puzzles and a fun round of hoop‑la. We also enjoyed gentle bat & ball sessions and spent time catching up with the news together. A highlight for many was watching the impressive Southport Air Show displays, and we rounded off the week by celebrating one special birthday with plenty of warmth and good wishes.

A lovely time at Lakeside View, our residents enjoying easy meaningful activities together. We spent time reading the papers and chatting about the latest news, sharing opinions and stories.
We also enjoyed playing Bingo, with lots of concentration, excitement and plenty of smiles.....

Day four at Southport flower show
Already on day four, our final day at the Flower show.
Its been a fantastic few days filled with amazing flowers, beautiful displays and lots of smiles and wonderful memories.

A special thank you to Ramya & Chris for all their hard work and support with organising all four trips.

A special mention to Ramya who has been every day to the show, providing support and help,

And a big thank you to all the staff who have supported with the trips, plus Vicky and the kitchen team for the fantastic picnic lunches.

Its been a great four days.......Until next year !

Day one of our visit to Southport Flower show💐🌷🌹🌺🌻
The residents had a great afternoon out, enjoying the beautiful flowers and displays, as well as watching the fantastic dog show.
There was plenty to see and enjoy, Also time for a picnic and coffee under the trees 🥯🥖🥪🍧🍰☕️🫖 and of course photos!

We had a fantastic afternoon at our Summer BBQ on Saturday, with fun and laughter all around. Thank you to everyone for your wonderful support - together we raised £150 through our raffle and tombola.
A huge congratulations to Ullas, winner of the 1st prize in the raffle: the delicious fruit basket...😄🌭🍔🍧🍨🧋🍻🥂
