My box of sheet wax has become a block . The joys of dental labs in hot weather. Wax won't go solid and acrylic sets in minutes leaving no time to work it . Still it could be worse, it could be raining 🤣🤣🤣

when teeth are extracted and either added on too a existing denture or a new denture fitted it is worth bearing in mind that as the gum heals it will shrink back. This will start to leave a gap which if left will cause the denture to break. The acrylic a denture is made from is extremely strong in comprehension but has no flex so when you bit and it twists due to the gap it will snap. The answer is simple though with a reline to fill the gap . This one though was a different matter but still fixable with a strip down and remake . Sorry, bit of a long post but worth telling
