🌟 A Huge Thank You! 🌟

Everyone at Dale Park Care Home would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all who supported our fundraising for Queenscourt Hospice - Southport

Our Home Manager, Andrea, explained how Clinical Lead, Jack Whitehead, worked together with colleagues to organise the fundraiser, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our residents, relatives, colleagues and local community, we raised an amazing £349.50. Hc One then matched this amount, bringing our fantastic total to almost £700!

We would also like to give a special mention to our wonderful carer Ellie, who took part in the Star Trekk on Friday 8th May, helping to raise even more money for this incredible cause.

Queenscourt Hospice provides compassionate care and support to people and families when they need it most, and we are incredibly proud to have played a small part in supporting their invaluable work.

Thank you to everyone who donated, encouraged, volunteered and cheered us on. Together, we really can make a difference. 💙

We provide person-centred care and support to people living with dementia.

As Tom Kitwood famously said -

“When you’ve met one person with dementia, you’ve met one person with dementia.”

These words remind us that every individual is unique, with their own life story, values, preferences, and relationships.

Our role is to see the person before the diagnosis, to uphold personhood, and to provide care that respects dignity, individuality, and choice.

Dementia does not define who someone is. ❤️

It’s been a real pleasure working with you, over the years.

Reinis started at Dale Park around 2011 and left briefly before returning again. Almost 15 years of service, dedication and commitment to us all.

Thank you so much, good luck in your new job!!!

This week it is Carer’s week 8th - 14th June 2026

We are proud to have such an incredibly loving and caring team working at Dale Park, and this is extended to our families who visit their loved ones day in, day out. Care comes in a variety of ways.
