A brilliant bowling afternoon at Marina. Plenty of good aim, a few near misses, and lots of encouragement from around the room.

It is these ordinary afternoons together that make the biggest difference to everyone's day.

A brilliant afternoon of seated games at Marina, keeping the balloon in the air while passing the ball around the circle. Great for coordination, great for gentle movement, and even better for the laughter that came with it. 💛💙

There's a lot to be said for a simple game and good company.

Active Fun with Our Giant Ball Game! 👏🏼👏🏼

Our residents at Marina Care Home had a fantastic time getting involved in a giant ball game, proving that staying active can be both fun and rewarding!

With plenty of laughter and encouragement, everyone worked together to keep the ball moving, enjoying a gentle workout while improving coordination, mobility and teamwork.

We love activities that promote wellbeing and make every day more fun. 💙💛

😊 Staying Active with Our Punch-the-Ball Activity!

Using a lightweight beach ball, we enjoyed punching the ball and keeping it in play, encouraging gentle movement, coordination and we had fun too!

It's a good way to stay active, socialise and enjoy some time together.

At Marina, we love finding fun and engaging ways to support our residents' physical wellbeing while making every activity something to look forward to. 💙💛

The competitive spirit was in full swing as our residents took part in a fun penalty shoot-out challenge, putting their aim and teamwork to the test.

To get into the football spirit, our residents have been designing their own football shirts, getting creative with colours, patterns and team ideas.

We're all looking forward to cheering on England in their next match and can't wait to see how they get on.

🟡🔴🟢 A colourful challenge at Marina Care Home!

Residents enjoyed a fun colour matching and sorting activity, carefully arranging the coloured balls to match the pattern cards. It was a brilliant way to encourage concentration, coordination and problem-solving, all while having fun together.
