Showcase Saturday - Marian's Community Courtyard at Dovehaven House 🌼

Over the next few weeks, we're bringing new life to the courtyard at Dovehaven House in memory of beloved resident Marian 🤍

Thanks to a generous donation from Marian's family, support from the local community and our residents getting involved every step of the way, we know that the space will be transformed into a colourful, calming area for residents and their families to enjoy.

Our residents have been taking part in their weekly gardening club, painting pots and getting creative to create a new welcoming spot for their activities.

Marian's Community Courtyard will be opening on August 26th from 2pm and we'd love for as many people as possible to come along, enjoy refreshments and appreciate the new space. All are welcome 🕊

CARES Award Winner Spotlight: Chloe Sturgess ✨

A massive congratulations to Chloe, Wellbeing Coordinator at Coniston who was chosen as the winner of the Employee of the Year award at the 2026 Dovehaven CARES Awards! ⭐

Chloe's passion for her work and residents is always reflected every day, as she puts her residents' likes at the forefront of all her activities.

She has championed new projects at Coniston, such as their peaceful Garden Room along with also looking after Coniston's flock of chickens! Both have proved to greatly benefit the residents - it is clear that Chloe is the definition of 'above and beyond' 🕊

Well done again Chloe, you deserved this recognition so much! 💙

Two more Dovehaven homes are officially Veteran Friendly!

We’re incredibly proud that Pennine View in Accrington and Church View in Liverpool have both achieved Veteran Friendly Framework status, joining 7 other homes in the group.

The accreditation recognises the commitment of both teams to understanding the experiences of those who have served and ensuring veterans living with us feel recognised, respected and supported.

A fantastic achievement for both homes, and another important step in strengthening veteran-friendly care across Dovehaven 💙 Congratulations to Emma, Cheryl and both teams!

We caught up with Kyle, our Wellbeing Coordinator at Callands about the Dovehaven Pen Pal Project which he has spearheaded ✨

The importance of friendship and community bonds at Dovehaven goes beyond just our individual homes, and our Pen Pals have formed a real connection.

We're looking forward to sharing their special day when they can finally meet in person 🕊
