✨ Love Sound Baths, But Need Something More Targeted? ✨

Sound baths are wonderful for relaxation, stress relief and helping the body and mind switch out of “doing mode” and into a more restorative state 💜

But sometimes we have a specific area of the body that’s asking for a little extra attention.

Perhaps it’s a niggling ache or discomfort that just doesn’t seem to be shifting.

A place that’s holding tension.
Or an area that feels like it’s taking longer than expected to recover.

This is where tuning fork sessions can be a beautiful complement to sound healing ✨
Unlike a sound bath, where the sound is experienced throughout the whole body, tuning forks can be applied around specific areas, allowing the vibrations to be focused where support is needed most.

Many people find them deeply relaxing and a wonderful way to support the body’s natural healing and recovery processes.

✨ A Question I’ve Been Reflecting On… ✨

Why is it that the things that help us feel our best are often the first things we put off?

Rest.
Self-care.
Time in nature.
Doing something just for ourselves.

We tell ourselves we’ll make time when life is less busy.

But somehow life always finds a way to stay busy.

I’ve learned that we rarely “find” time for the things that nourish us.

We choose them.

Not because we have endless spare time, but because we recognise how important they are.

So today I’m curious…

What’s one thing that helps you feel calmer, lighter or more like yourself that you’ve been meaning to do more of? 💜

For me, creating and holding sound baths is definitely one of them ✨

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to last night’s sound bath 💜

It was such a beautiful space to hold, and it was lovely to hear your feedback afterwards.

Comments like:

…make it all so worthwhile.

One of the things I love most about sound baths is that everyone’s experience is unique, yet they often leave feeling more relaxed, grounded and supported than when they arrived.

We spend so much of our lives rushing from one thing to the next that it can feel quite special to simply lie down, be still, and allow yourself to receive.

✨ There’s Clearly a Need for This Right Now ✨

Tonight’s sound baths is now almost full, and it’s got me reflecting on something…

So many people are craving a chance to slow down.

A chance to step away from the noise, the pressure, the endless to-do lists and simply breathe.

To stop “doing” for an hour and allow themselves to just be.

It’s something we’re often told is a luxury, but I’m starting to believe it’s a necessity 💜

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, mentally busy, emotionally drained, or simply in need of some time for yourself, this is your reminder that you don’t have to wait until you’re running on empty.

✨ Sometimes Home Isn’t a Place ✨

At the weekend I went sailing for the first time in a while.

As soon as I was out on the water, something shifted.

I felt calm.
Present.
Alive.

And the thought that kept coming to me was:

“This feels like home.”

Not because of a physical place, but because I was reconnecting with a part of myself that I love.

It got me thinking about how many of us spend our lives doing what needs to be done, meeting responsibilities, and taking care of everyone else…

That we can slowly lose touch with the things that make us feel most like ourselves.

The things that light us up.
The things that bring us joy.
The things that remind us who we are beneath all the roles we play.

And often, the feeling that something is missing isn’t because we need to become someone new.

It’s because we’ve become disconnected from parts of ourselves that have always been there.

For me, sailing was a reminder of that this weekend 💙

✨ What a Sound Bath Actually Feels Like ✨

It’s hard to fully explain a sound bath until you’ve experienced one…

But if I had to describe it, I’d say it’s like your whole system finally getting permission to switch off.

You arrive with a busy mind.
Carrying daily stresses.
Still half in “doing mode”.

And then slowly… something begins to soften.

The sounds gently guide you out of your thoughts and back into your body.

Your breathing deepens without trying.
Your jaw relaxes.
Your mind gets quieter.

And for a little while… you’re not holding everything together anymore.

You’re just being 💜

✨ If You Could Have More Of One Thing Right Now… ✨

If someone waved a magic wand and gave you more of ONE thing in your life right now, what would it be?

✨ More peace?
✨ More energy?
✨ More confidence?
✨ More freedom?
✨ More joy?
✨ More time for yourself?

It’s a simple question, but our answer often tells us a lot about what we’re craving most beneath the surface.

For me, after the past few months, I’d choose more ease. Not because life should be easy, but because I’ve realised how much energy we can spend pushing, striving and trying to hold everything together.

When was the last time you truly relaxed?

Not scrolling on your phone.
Not watching TV while still mentally thinking about everything.
Not “having a rest” while your nervous system is still completely switched on.

I mean properly softened.
Properly breathed out.
Properly paused.

I think so many of us have forgotten what that actually feels like 💜

That’s one of the reasons I love sound baths so much.

They give people permission to stop holding everything for a little while.

The sunshine lately has felt so good for the soul ☀️🤍

Everything feels a little softer.
A little lighter.
People spending more time outside, slowing down, breathing deeper and reconnecting with nature again.

And it’s such a beautiful reminder of how much our mind and body respond when we give ourselves space to pause and receive.

That’s one of the reasons I love sound baths so much.

They create that same feeling of exhale.

A chance to step out of the noise of everyday life and reconnect with yourself in a calmer, more grounded way ✨
