We are welcoming members of the public, staff and stakeholders to attend our Annual Members’ Meeting on Wednesday 16 September 2026, in the hospital’s Lecture Theatre, from 10am – 11.30am.

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance by emailing [email protected] or telephone 01535 294540.

Questions can be submitted up until 5pm on Friday 11 September 2026 or asked at the meeting.

Results Day can bring excitement, relief, disappointment, uncertainty and everything in between.

If you're not sure about what path to take, remember that your career doesn't follow just one route. There are lots of options to suit different strengths, interests and learning styles.

If you are supporting a young person, find help and advice on the NHS website.

If someone you know has received their GCSE results today, take a moment to check in and see how they’re feeling. A little support can make a big difference if they’re finding things difficult.

Today is International Neonatal Nurses Day, an opportunity to momentarily stop and reflect on the incredible hard work and dedication demonstrated by neonatal nurses every day.

Please join us in thanking our neonatal nurses for their dedication, expertise and passion, and the impact they have on the lives of babies and their families.

To all Neonatal families, you are invited to attend a supportive gathering organised by our MNVP lead Beth Dunne on Saturday 12 September - please see the poster below.

Our Emergency Department is for life threatening medical emergencies and serious injuries.

Our team has to prioritise the sickest people so, if your condition isn't a life or limb-threatening emergency, you may have a long wait, for which we apologise.

If you need non-urgent medical help, please phone NHS 111, go to www.111.nhs.uk or speak to your pharmacist or GP for advice.

Planning permission is approved, contracts are signed, and construction is now underway on the new Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and Clinical Facility at Airedale General Hospital.

After months of planning and preparation, it’s great to see work starting on site. Even better, the groundworks are getting underway in the summer sunshine!

A fantastic milestone achieved through partnership working between AGH Solutions, Hive Projects, VINCI Building and Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
