We provide lifestyle support for you and your family including mental health, physical activity, weight management, breastfeeding, parenting skills, coping with cancer, Carers and smoking cessation. We can provide free access to information on health and wellbeing subjects including Diabetes, Back Care, Sexual Health, MacMillan, Family and Children matters.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a red heat-health alert (HHA) for 6 regions of England. The South East is affected and will be under a red heat-health alert from 1am on Wednesday 24 June until 11pm on Thursday 25 June.
In light of the extreme weather warnings Hertfordshire Health Walks have made the decision to cancel ALL Health Walks taking place on Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June (24th/25th June 2026).
We look forward to you joining us on a walk again soon.

Step2Skills is delighted to be holding an Inclusive Job Fair in Stevenage. This Job Fair will be aimed towards adults (aged 18 and above) in Stevenage and surrounding areas with learning and physical disabilities, sensory needs, neurodiversity and mental health conditions.

This event is FREE for Hertfordshire residents to attend. Booking is not essential but is advised as spaces are limited for each slot. Note that there is a low sensory hour between 12-1pm with limited tickets available and you MUST book a ticket to be allowed entry during this slot.

Today marks the start of (11–17 May 2026), the UK’s national week for raising awareness of mental health.

This year’s theme is Action. Throughout the week, we’ll be highlighting simple, practical ways everyone can take action to support good mental health. Start by joining our wellbeing webinars taking place throughout the week: https://www.hpft-talkingtherapies.nhs.uk/mental-health-awareness-week

If you’d like to get involved, the Mental Health Foundation are sharing lots of tips and advice, from boosting and maintaining your own wellbeing, to supporting the mental health of those you care about and building a society where mental health is a priority.
