Part 1 of 7 reasons we all need Reiki.

Relaxation:

It's difficult to explain Reiki relaxation - but it's the thing most people notice first and most after a treatment -

It's deep and restorative and most people sleep really well for several nights as a result.

But it's not just relaxation. Science shows that it is only when we are in a deep state of relaxation that the body can start to heal.

Poly Vagal theory shows that if we are in any state of stress or arousal (fight, flight, faun or freeze) then that takes priority and the body simply does not heal !

Stress is now so present in most of our lives that we have become accustomed to it and so don't realise that we are in that state. Often people say they relax but there is still that ni**le - some underlying and often unknown tension and so the body resists.

Having a Reiki treatment helps to fully relax us and reminds our bodies just what it can do when the conditions are right.

and that's when the magic happens.

𝘼 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙞𝙠𝙞 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠!

After many years of teaching Reiki to many students, I have just completed a course with my first ever male student.

Although Reiki has traditionally attracted more women, it's a practice that can benefit everyone so It is wonderful to see more and more men are beginning to discover the benefits of Reiki, both as patients and practitioners and how it can help with so many things including stress, wellbeing, personal growth and spiritual development as well as healing and helping others.

But there is still a real need for greater male representation within the profession.
And I'd really love to see even more men entering the profession.

So, if you're a man who's been curious about Reiki but never quite taken the first step, I'd encourage you to give it a try.

It is easy to learn and you don't need any previous experience—just an open mind and a willingness to learn.

And of course, my courses are open to **everyone**, regardless of gender as I believe the more diverse our community becomes, the stronger it is.

To celebrate this milestone and hopefully inspire more people to begin their Reiki journey, for a limited time

I've been on here a while now and so thought it was high time I introduce myself properly and explain a bit about my philosophy and the ways I can help you.

My name is Pete and I am an alternative therapist dedicated to supporting deep, holistic healing through a blend of Reiki, hypnotherapy, and embodied processing.

My work is rooted in the belief that true transformation happens when the mind, body, spirit and energy system are brought into alignment.

Through Reiki, I help clients restore energetic balance and promote deep relaxation, creating space for the body’s natural healing processes.

This can either be through you having a treatment, or you starting your own Reiki healing journey by me teaching you this amazing skill for yourself.

With hypnotherapy, I guide individuals to access the subconscious mind, gently uncovering and reshaping limiting beliefs, patterns, and emotional blocks.

I also offer past-life regressions for those interested in finding out who and when they might have been before.

My embodied processing approach invites clients to reconnect with their physical experience, allowing stored emotions and trauma to be safely acknowledged, felt, understood, and released.

I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their inner world at their own pace.
