A quick update regarding our Clee Hill site this week.

Due to staff sickness and unforeseen circumstances, there will be no GP clinic at Clee Hill after today for the remainder of the week.

Prescription collections will still be available from Clee Hill in the mornings.

Appointments and clinics will continue at Tenbury, and all patients can contact the surgery on our usual telephone number as normal.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience and really appreciate your understanding.

📢 Bank holiday opening information

Tenbury Surgery and Clee Hill Surgery will be closed on Monday 31 August and will reopen as usual on Tuesday 1 September.

If you need medical help while we are closed:
• Visit NHS 111 online at 111.nhs.uk
• Call 111 if you cannot access the online service
• Call 999 in a life-threatening emergency

Please ensure you have ordered any essential repeat medication in advance.
We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable bank holiday weekend.

💊 August bank holiday prescription reminder

With the bank holiday approaching, please check that you have enough regular medication to last.

If you are due to run out, please submit your repeat prescription request as soon as possible. Prescriptions require time to be reviewed by the surgery and prepared by your nominated pharmacy.

The easiest way to order is through the NHS App or your usual online service.
Please only order medication that you currently need. 💊

📅 Can’t attend your appointment?

If you no longer need your appointment or cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Cancelling allows us to offer the appointment to another patient who may be waiting for care. Even appointments cancelled at short notice can often be reused.

You can cancel using the link in your appointment reminder, through the NHS App where available, or by contacting the surgery.

Thank you for helping us make the best use of our appointments.

The NHS App provides a quick and convenient way to request your regular repeat medication without needing to telephone the surgery.

You can also use it to:
• View your requested and approved repeat medication
• Choose the pharmacy where your prescription will be sent
• Check when your prescription has been approved

Please remember to order in plenty of time and only request the medication you currently need.

💊 Did you know your local pharmacy can help with several common conditions without you needing to see a GP first?
Pharmacy First can provide advice and, where clinically appropriate, treatment for:
• Infected insect bites
• Shingles
• Impetigo
• Sinusitis
• Sore throats
• Earache
• Uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women aged 16–64

Age limits apply to some conditions. Your pharmacist will assess your symptoms and refer you to another NHS service if needed.

You can contact a participating community pharmacy directly or speak to our reception team about a Pharmacy First referral.
