We are currently experiencing a network issue affecting our clinical system provider. The support team is aware of the problem and is working urgently to restore services as quickly as possible.

💙 Thank You from Castle Place Practice! 💙
A huge thank you to everyone who visited the Castle Place Practice stall at the Mid Devon Show this weekend! 🎪
It was wonderful to meet so many people from across Mid Devon, as well as visitors who had travelled from all over the country. 🇬🇧 We were especially pleased to welcome more than 100 farmers and their families 🚜🌾 to our stand. Reaching and supporting the farming community was one of our key objectives, and we're delighted that it proved to be such a success.
Throughout the day, our team shared a wide range of health information and advice, including:
🥗 Healthy lifestyles & nutrition
💉 Vaccinations
💙 Blood pressure awareness
🎗️ Prostate, bowel, breast & cervical screening
🚭 Smoking cessation
🍷 Alcohol & drug awareness
🧠 Mental health & wellbeing
📚 And much more...
One of the highlights of the day was carrying out 262 blood pressure checks ❤️, giving people the opportunity to discuss their results and, where appropriate, signposting them to their own GP for further advice and follow-up.
The event was an overwhelming success, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to stop by, chat with our team, ask questions, and take a positive step towards improving their health.
🏥 Castle Place Practice is proud to serve our community, and we remain committed to promoting good health, early prevention, and making healthcare advice accessible to everyone.

We understand that the hot weather can make it a bit more difficult to get out and about and we want you to stay safe, but please do let us know if you are unable to attend your appointment. Yesterday we had 9 appointments that were not attended, which could have been offered to other patients.
