50 MILLION STEPS… 👣🌍

That’s how many steps the Stadium Support Services team will have walked across nine weeks on site by the time the post-event clean-up at Farnborough Airshow Airshow 2026 is complete.

🌍 That’s almost enough steps to walk around the Earth.

During the live event alone, our team of 130 cleaners averaged 30,000 steps per person, per day – clocking up an incredible 39 million steps while helping keep one of the world’s biggest aerospace events operating at its very best.

But the work doesn’t start when the gates open or finish when they close. Around 10 members of our team have been on site for six weeks before the event preparing the venue and will remain for three weeks afterwards supporting the breakdown and post-event clean-up, taking the total to almost 50 million steps.

Every step tells a story – emptying bins, collecting litter, cleaning exhibition halls, completing facilities works and keeping the event moving.

A huge thank you to every member of the Stadium Support Services team. Your hard work often goes unnoticed by the thousands of visitors who enjoy the event, but without your dedication, professionalism and teamwork, none of this would be possible.

We’re incredibly proud of every single one of you. 👏💙

A brilliant evening at New Road as the Worcestershire Rapids took on the Kent Spitfires in the Vitality T20 Blast.

It was fantastic to see our branding taking pride of place pitchside, supporting our partner in front of a packed crowd.

Throwing it back to last week’s Charity Golf Day ⛳️💙

A record turnout, brilliant support from clients, partners and friends of Stadium Support Services, all coming together to raise vital funds for Sport in Mind and the incredible work they do to support children and adults experiencing mental health challenges through sport and physical activity.

This year was bigger than ever, with more players, more support and more money raised than last year.

We’re delighted to have raised an incredible £4,730, with every penny going towards helping Sport in Mind continue their life-changing work.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated prizes and helped make the day such a success.

Already looking forward to next year. 👏

We are incredibly proud to get a picture next to these beautiful bins at Royal Ascot…

(Don’t laugh, let us explain...) 😉

We designed, manufactured, supplied and installed 100+ bespoke waste and recycling stations for Official Ascot & Royal Ascot ahead of Royal Ascot race week.

Working closely with the Ascot team, the brief was about much more than waste management.

We wanted to create something that enhanced the environment and visitor experience.

By integrating floral displays into the design, we’ve transformed what would ordinarily be an unsightly necessity into a feature that sits naturally within one of the world’s most prestigious sporting venues.

A brilliant project and a great example of how thoughtful design can elevate even the most functional elements of a venue.

Thanks again to Lee Chalk for inviting Joseph Noble, myself and our wives, Helen Noble | Independent Wedding & Funeral Celebrant and mentor and Ellen Jane Hudson, back to The Summer House for another excellent day out.

When four high-level chimney breasts at a heritage residential property in Grosvenor Gardens required extensive remediation, traditional scaffolding wasn’t an option due to roof load restrictions.

Using specialist rope access techniques, our team delivered a complete programme of conservation-led works, including:

• Installation of terracotta chimney pots & cowl caps
• Lime mortar repointing
• Portland stone repairs & conservation
• Conservation-grade steam cleaning
• Installation of bespoke stone elements to heritage requirements

We completed all work in line with the architect’s specification, protected the building’s historic fabric, and maintained the highest standards of safety and compliance.

It’s another example of how rope access can provide a practical, cost-effective solution where conventional access methods are not viable.
