🌿 AUGUST AT ELIXIR 🌿

August, you’ve been a busy one! ☀️

Our Market Day was a proper busy one, thank you to everyone who popped into the shop, stopped for a chat or came over to say hello to us on the market. It’s always lovely seeing so many familiar faces! 💚

We were also lucky enough to have the wonderful Jan from Viridian Nutrition with us for the day, helping us spread the Viridian love. 🌿

Back in the shop, we had a rather special visitor… Alexandra Pope, co-founder of Red School and co-author of Wild Power and Wise Power alongside Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer, popped in to see us. It’s not every day we get someone quite so fascinating through the door! 📚✨

Then there was the eclipse 🌑☀️ which gave us the perfect excuse to down tools, head outside and all experience it together. A pretty spectacular afternoon!

🎂 Ellie turned 21! 🎉
We obviously had to celebrate properly… although we’re not sure where the time has gone!

And finally…
LEXI IS BACK! 🥳 💚

So, another month of busy days, lovely customers, interesting visitors, celebrations, sunshine and plenty going on behind the scenes.

Thanks for being part of another month at Elixir. 🌱

Bring on September… although please can someone tell the weather that summer isn’t quite finished yet?! 😂

Is it too early to mention the C word? 👀

We’re going to say absolutely not… because Tea Christmas teas have arrived! 😂🎅
We know it’s only September, but when the festive teas start appearing, it feels rude not to tell you about them!

So, who’s ready for Christmas tea?

Don’t worry, we won’t put the Christmas music on… yet. 😂

🚨 CASE CLOSED… WE THINK 🚨😂

Well, we’ve finally got to the bottom of the mystery…
It started with giant MooGoo. 🐄
Then came giant Viridian Digestive Aid. 🧴
And finally… GIANT Yogi Tea. 🍵

All three have now been caught towering over poor Sammie. 😂
So after extensive investigation, we can confirm one of two things:
A) Our products are getting ridiculously big…
B) Sammie is slowly shrinking. 👀
We’re going with B. 🤣

We’ll be keeping a very close eye on her from now on — and if she gets any smaller, she’ll be living in the till drawer.

RIP normal-sized Sammie. You were lovely while you lasted. 😂

🚨 WE HAVE A PROBLEM… 🚨

Okay… this has officially gone too far. 😂

First it was giant MooGoo.

Then came the giant Viridian.

And now Sammie has been confronted by a GIANT Yogi Tea 🍵🤣

We’re beginning to think it’s not the products getting bigger…
Sammie might actually be shrinking. 👀

She’s now officially outnumbered by giant things in the shop and, frankly, we’re not sure how much longer she can cope. 😂
We’re calling it.
Sammie: 1
Giant products: 3

Someone hide the next delivery before she disappears completely! 🤣

🚨 THE GIANT PRODUCTS ARE BACK… 🚨

We thought the giant MooGoo was a one-off.
Apparently not. 😂

Now Sammie has been spotted next to a GIANT bottle of Viridian Nutrition Digestive Aid… and she’s starting to look a little concerned. 👀
At this point, we’re not sure if Sammie is shrinking or our products are secretly getting bigger. 🤔😂

We’re keeping a very close eye on the shelves…
Because if the next product is any bigger, we might have to start measuring Sammie! 🤣

We’re starting to have some serious concerns in the shop…

One minute Sammie was a perfectly normal size, and now she’s standing next to giant MooGoo Skin Care UK ! 🐄🤣

We’re not sure what’s going on, but we’re keeping a close eye on the rest of the stock… 👀

Anyone else noticed the products getting bigger lately?! 😂
