📢 Patient Notice

Due to unexpected staff sickness, we are currently operating with a reduced number of GPs. This means our appointments and telephone lines are under increased pressure.

We kindly ask that you only contact the surgery if your medical issue is urgent or cannot safely wait. This will help us prioritise care for those who need it most.

For many common conditions, your local pharmacy may be able to help without the need for a GP appointment through the Pharmacy First service. Pharmacists can provide advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses and conditions.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support. Thank you for helping us ensure that urgent care remains available to those who need it most.

April marks Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

Bowel cancer is one of the most common types of cancer, but when it is detected early, it is highly treatable.

Do you know the signs of bowel cancer? They can include:
➡️Bleeding from your bottom and/or blood in your stool
➡️A persistent and unexplained change in bowel habits
➡️Unexplained weight loss
➡️Extreme fatigue without an apparent cause
➡️A lump or pain in your stomach

These symptoms don’t always mean cancer, but it’s important not to ignore them. If you notice any changes that concern you, please contact us.

If you’re aged between 50 and 74 and invited for bowel screening, please complete your home test kit—screening helps detect problems early, when treatment is more effective.

Know the signs. Take part in screening. Talk to your GP if you’re concerned. 💙
