A team of six colleagues from Lancaster Fastener, joined by two members of the Global EHS, recently came together for a beach clean at Morecambe Bay.

Together, they helped remove litter, protecting the coastline for the local community and wildlife. The team's efforts were recognised by a local volunteer, who thanked them for helping prepare the area ahead of the annual Viking Festival.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, proving that a few hours of volunteering can make a lasting difference.

🌍Investing in Skills, Strengthening Communications

Between February 2025 and January 2026, TR Hungary Kft. provided English language training for its employees through the “Employee English Language Training” program.

The aim of the training was to enhance employees’ English language skills, improving the efficiency of daily work activities and strengthening the quality of international communication across the organization.

The project was supported by European Union funding in the amount of HUF 3,357,000, in accordance with the grant agreement.

We are pleased to announce that the training program was successfully completed on 28 January 2026.

We thank all participants for their commitment and contribution to the success of this initiative.

🌍 A TR Hungary Kft. 14 fő munkavállalója 2025 február és 2026 január közt, a GINOP_Plusz-3.2.1-21 pályázati konstrukció keretében elnyert támogatásnak köszönhetően 100 órás Angol nyelvi képzésben vett részt. A képzés 3 csoportban, 3 nyelvi szinten (KER A2, KER B1, valamint KER B2) zajlott. A képzések megvalósításával célunk munkatársaink angol nyelvi kompetenciáinak fejlesztése, ezáltal a mindennapi munkavégzés hatékonyságának és a nemzetközi kommunikáció színvonalának erősítése.

A pályázat megvalósításához szerződés szerint biztosított Európai Uniós támogatás összege 3 357 000 Ft volt. A támogatási intenzitás 50%. A képzések 2026. január 28-ával sikeresen lezárultak.

Bespoke Closure: Custom Self-Retaining Cable Guide

Refining the next generation of a bespoke closure featuring a custom self-retaining cable guide and optimising for manufacture and targetting potential reliability risks.

Using design reviews and FEA, our engineers identified high-stress areas and refined the geometry to improve stress distribution, durability, and mouldability. Wall thickness transitions were also optimised to reduce warping and surface defects.

After validating the design with in-house 3D printed prototypes, the solution was approved for production, reducing time, cost, and risk.
