McConville (Rostrevor/Cullyhanna) 27th August 2026, peacefully at Evora Hospice, Newry, Sr. Olive (Sister of Mercy), much-loved sister of Josephine, Dermot, Leontia, Noeleen, Kieran, Gemma, Caroline, Declan and the late Marie, Brendan, Raymond and Emmett and beloved daughter of the late James and Rosaleen McConville.
3, Glenashley, Kilbroney Road, Rostrevor. BT34 3FW and formerly of Cullyhanna, Co. Armagh.
May her soul rest in peace.

Sr. Olive’s remains will repose at her home on Friday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Saturday at 1pm arriving at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor for 1.30pm Requiem Mass (churchservices.tv) followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Cullyhanna.

Nuala’s remains will repose at her home today Wednesday 26th August from 6pm – 9pm and on Thursday 27th August from 12noon – 8pm. Removal on Friday 28th August at 10.30am arriving at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor for 11am Requiem Mass (churchservices.tv). Cremation Service for Nuala will take place on Saturday 29th August at 9.30am in Dardistown Crematorium, Dublin.

Acknowledgement Notice for the late Eamon Prince

We the family of the late Eamon Prince, Dungannon, who passed away on the 19th July 2026 would like to thank most sincerely everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to family, friends, neighbours, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, sent flowers, telephoned, posted on social media, made donations to Evora Hospice and attended the Wake, Funeral and provided emotional and practical support for us at this sad time.

The family would like to thank those who gave Eamon the wonderful care and support throughout his illness. A special word of thanks to the wonderful staff at Evora Hospice Newry for the compassionate care given to Eamon and our family, Dr Spence and staff at Endocrinology Royal Victoria Hospital, Craigavon Area Hospital, Dr Luke and his team at Hospital at Home, District Nursing, the Doctors and Nurses Kate and Leanne at Mid Ulster Healthcare, Staff at Anns Home Care, McMillan Nurses and Marie Curie and Padraig and staff at Gordons Chemist, Gortmerron.

A special word of thanks to all those who participated in Eamon's Requiem Mass especially Monsignor Hugh Connolly for celebrating a beautiful Mass, the readers and the musician for their lovely contribution to the Mass. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to Cathal, Méabh and Staff at McAnulty Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and looked after our dear Eamon.

Acknowledgement Notice for the late Hugh John Hanratty:

The family of the late Hugh John Hanratty(Corrags) who passed away peacefully on the 17th July 2026 would like to thank most sincerely everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to family, friends, neighbours, those who sent Mass & Sympathy Cards, telephoned, posted on social media, attended the Wake, Funeral and provided emotional and practical support for us at this sad time.

A special thanks to Elaine Haughey and Denise McKay whose assistance and kindness at the Wake greatly helped our grieving process.

Thank you to the staff of Daisy Hill hospital for their care and attentiveness to John in his final days. We would like to thank John’s GP, Dr Murdock and Walsh’s pharmacy for being so caring and looking after John’s medication.

A special word of thanks to all those who participated in John’s Requiem Mass especially Fr Carlos for celebrating a beautiful Mass and to our singer Eimear McGeough and pianist Sean Devlin for their lovely contribution to the Mass.
