Meet Dave, one of the most important members of our training team!

Our Care Professional trainees have been getting some hands on CPR practice with Dave as part of their training at Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst and Orpington.

Learning how to respond confidently in an emergency is an important part of preparing our Care Professionals for their roles. Practical training gives them the opportunity to develop their skills, ask questions and practise techniques in a safe environment before supporting clients in their own homes.

Dave may not have had much to say about the session, but he certainly played his part!

We're committed to giving our Care Professionals the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to provide high quality care to our clients.

Music has the power to unlock memories, encourage communication and create meaningful moments for people living with dementia.

We're proud that Care Professionals from Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst & Orpington took part in the Music Helps pilot, developed by Music as Therapy International. The training explores how music can be used as a practical tool to strengthen relationships and enhance dementia care at home.

A special thank you to Music as Therapy International for making this fantastic training available and for the incredible work they do to support caregivers and people living with dementia.
